Nah. It's one of the few live action remakes that Disney got mostly right, along with The Jungle Book.

Jungle Book was great and Beauty And The Beast was pretty good. Those are the only two remakes I've seen.

I love Aladdin, but I think Lion King will turn out the best of any of these remakes.

For me, Pete's Dragon was pleasantly okay (I was expecting it to be worse). Jungle Book was good, I liked it well enough. I thought Cinderella was charming, and I absolutely LOVED Beauty and the Beast.

I don't think they've set any dates in stone yet, which is very wise considering they're having trouble with the casting.

I strongly think that have someone in mind but the scheduling isn't perfect so they are delaying like when Walt did that for Julie when they did Mary Poppins. They probably wanted to announce it at d23 but they weren't ready which is what caused the rumour mill to go nuts like it did
