Actually it is quite a good point, it's very possible that Gwen turns out to be BC. It might work... might not, we'll see. But personally, I don't really think it would be that terrible if she was because I really would like to see BC in SM3.

And Aunt May as Carnage... As if.

I say no. Gwen starts the Peter/Gwen/MJ love triangle in SM3. Peter chooses Gwen, MJ dies. then in SM4, we're introduced to Black Cat who starts a Black Cat/Spidey relationship while Peter debates the Gwen/Peter/Spidey/Black Cat love triangle/square.

heh, I find it quite funny how you all don't think such a change is feasible especially with the extent of the changes made for adaptation in the first two films of characters and also origins.

Like it goes on and on. Peter loves MJ. That's it. If Gwen were just a normal girl, then I don't see how Peter would fall for her....unless she falls for him and becomes like a creepy obsessive person. Or if she is caught in a love triangle with Brock. Like he loves her, but she loves Peter...but peter doesn't care(cause he has mj).

I don't see any angle they can really throw in for the character, her time on screen is destined to be wasted.

To think parker has been stalking mj for years and now he finally has her, to even consider his eyes wandering for another normal human is unthinkable...

unless.....she's an evil villain...

looking at the set pictures, I say they are going with the ultimate story of Gwen and Eddie dating. She may at some point take a liking to Peter new bad side, and piss Eddie off.

The first two films did not change anything near as drastic as making Gwen Stacy the black cat. Say what you want about Octavius, he eventually became the Ock we all know.

While your hypothesis is certainly.......original....I strongly doubt it. I was actually surprised when someone mentioned FOUR villains in Spider-Man 3, which makes me think the fourth dude in someone manipulating things behind the scenes.

And XWolverine2, you can think Gwen is fat, but some people are morons, and Gwen can ALWAYS lose weight. So think about that.
