Now, I will be the first one to admit that I've been loving The Spectacular Spider-Man. In fact, I find myself to be really enjoying this MUCH more than the 90's cartoon.
I do have one problem/concern about the direction that the show is heading, though. Have the writers been aiming for Gwen Stacy to be one of Peter's love interests? If so, then I don't believe that they have done a very convincing job at it.
Here are the things that lead me to believe what I believe:
Anyway, what are your thoughts about this? Agree? Disagree? I want to know what everyone thinks.

Here are the things that lead me to believe what I believe:
- Gwen acts more like an Aunt May clone than a friend ... And Peter more or less treats her as such. She sure does like to nag a lot, which doesn't convince me that she and Peter could develop a romantic connection.
- When Mary Jane was introduced in the show, I assumed that a love triangle involving Gwen would happen. Black Cat's appearance in the show has led me to believe otherwise. With this other female character in the picture, it seems to me that Gwen is being pushed more and more out of the picture.
Anyway, what are your thoughts about this? Agree? Disagree? I want to know what everyone thinks.
