I finally caught the trailer on the big screen too and it was awesome. I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to seeing this movie. It seems like it's a perfect mix of action and humor - a lot of films try to get both of these elements down and usually fails at one of them but I have faith that Hancock will pull it off seamlessly.

Iron Man got these two elements down, and we'll see if Hancock does likewise.

It should.

The combination of Peter Berg and Will Smith is wonderful. Berg has proven himself to be a very, very talented director.

more Will Smith obnoxiousness on the big screen. just what the world needs.

i'd rather see Wall-E. and/or Kung Fu Panda.

I hope they release a serious-looking poster with him in his costume, showing the eagle design on his back. They'll probably just have comedic posters though.
I guess they want it to look different from the rest of this summer's superhero fair.:o

One poster in costume would be cool though...
Since the movie takes place in California i wonder how Times Square fits in?
actually screenings usually indicate that a studio is unsure of a movie... so they bring in the GA to watch it.. and attempt to fix whats broken. (if possible). usually its just cutting scenes, and working with timing and editing. Usually a movie with a screening means the studio is aware they may have garbage on there hands.
Well with news of reshoots it's looking they're trying to fix whatever they can. While they still can....
That's what some guy wrote who was in the crowd. He said it was a flashback scene cause alot of the extras were given 80's style clothes.
It might explain the hairdo which is different from all the shots we've seen of Smith in character.
i can't even see how this movie can even be remotely rated r if that rating was ever considered.
I didn't think that with Wanted but after seeing the Russian trailer....
Nice!

Will Smith finally gets to be Neo.:woot:

Yeah and disappointment.
When was the last time he was disappointing?

I am Legeng; Great acting on his part
Pursuit of Happiness was an oscar quality film
Hitch was good for what it was
Shark Tale was ****ing awesome. :woot:
And I liked I,Robot.

1)
he ends up in new york at the end of the movie.... and i guess with the reshoots, did in the 80's as well

2) none of the reports from the reshoots from the locations seem to be helping what the majority of my screenings problems were :(

I'm so excited for this flick! :) Will Smith is a fantastic actor and I'm also big on superhero movies...so this is double geek-out for me.

Peter Berg is directing this???

I was shocked too. I didn't expect him to make this film after The Kingdom.
