Someone should ring the neck of the guy who approved of that cover artwork.

Even without it almost completely spoiling the film, it's just terrible in every way imaginable. Certain things should be a no-brainer when it comes to cover art for DVDs, but dammit of a slew of studios and design depts don't go and screw up royally anyway.

Has there been anymore news on Hancock 2 at all? I know Theron said said she would do it if everyone else returned, but havent really heard anything since. Considering the money this thing made, I would be very surprised if they didnt make a follow-up.

I sure hope there is never a sequel.

if there is a I AM LEGEND sequel and no hancock 2 i will lokst all hope.
hancock looks like a movie that could have sequels....i ma legend not. and not even a prequel.

so lets see. the reason why bad boys 2 didnt happen sonner was because the whole team didnt have time.

A Hancock sequel would be a fitting punishment for the masses that dumped money piles on Smith and Berg's front porches over this wretchedly pathetic miscalculation.

^I though Hancock was okay, and could definately be expanded on with sequels, there is room for a sequel there.

O_O I thought this movie was great. A sequel would be enjoyable with the right villain.

^They would need a better villain who could provide a threat, I thought the villain in the first movie was lacking.

I think a sequel to Hancock could have great potential. I enjoyed the first film (for the most part) and a sequel could really get into the meat of the character and story.

Frankly i could live with Hancock being a oneoff really. I don't know where they could or need to take the story next.
I remember when it was announced the title was Tonight, He Comes. My friend kept getting that one confused with I Am Legend. He was thinking that (Hancock) was I Am Legend, because, well it sounded more like a superhero movie.

Sometimes I don't understand studio thinking, why change the name?? Unless the script before didn't have as much humor as what we got.

I'm hoping we get an unrated version, and hopefully some of that extra stuff contains some 3rd act stuff. It flew by and was a mess of CG. It's like they got to that section and gave up finishing the story properly.

I'm glad they changed it.The title sounded too much like an adult movie.:hehe:

Thanks for posting these ant.I'm not too impressed by the covers themselves though.

As others have said it does spoil the true nature of Charlize's character which they tried to avoid in the theatrical promotion. So much for that.:o

I liked Hancock, but it doesn't need a sequel.

Gimme Bad Boys 3 while Will and Martin are still young enough to pull it off

I think a sequel would have all kinds of interesting things it could explore, fate played a big part in the first movie, and could easily play a big part in a 2nd.

Some questions from the first movie could be explored also like:

Why was Hancock built more for protecting people than the others like them?

What happens when these gods/angel's have children, or can they?

What happened in the 80 years that Hancock had lost his memory?

There are probably plenty more I cant think of right now because I havent seen the movie since July.

just dont make a prequel to hancock. there was a lot of characte development. i dont want to lost that and go to the beginning.

I have a question about the movie:

Why did C.Theron show up looking like a ****e near the end? Was it to try and make her look badass?

Well the her we saw throughout the film until she revealed she had powers was just an act to fit in, perhaps the "****e" look was who she really was. I hope they release a sequel as I really enjoyed this movie.

****e?

Uhhh she shows up in that black outfit seen on the dvd cover, how is that a ****e?

Unless maybe your amish and shes showing to much skin which, in that case, why are you using the devils internet machine?

probably doesn't help the fact she's a married woman making out with another man either...

Black eyeliner, heavy mascara, black outfit with very low chest line and her hair looks horrible.

Perhaps not full on, heroin withdrawl ****e, but from the way she was at the start of the movie it's certainly ****e-ish.

i watched the unrated version. i dont remember how exactly it was in the theater so ....

-some extended scenes in the bar where some old drunk lady is looking at him. some 3 girls come in. and one of those girls is looking for hancock. he saved her sister or friend. i dotn remember. well she drives him to hes trailer. he tells her that she needs to stop before he cums. then we get some campy sex sounds from both of them. the camera is outisde the trailer and its shaking. then hancock makes holes in the trailer. i think it was super-sperma. then the girl goes and hancock looks like he is sad because he is alone. IMO very stupid. so this was not the rape scene.
-maybe some extra shots her and there.
-after hancock cuts down the guys hand in the bank we get an extra shot of hancock and people walking out of the the bank.
-in the unrated version mary and hancock kiss. then its all the same.
-mary doesn fly to hancock's trailer. she comes with the car.
-no new scenes from the fight from what i remember. at the end of the fightscens where Ray is watching them there are some extra shots and screams of mary. ohhh and a new shot of ray looking at them. ohh and hancock says to mary that she is the most beautiful women.
-.....

it could be more but i dont remember.i dont think there was mroe violence, blood or bad words inside..i dont understand why this was unrated. this should be an extended version.

p.s. i thought that 30 minutes of footage was cut out.

^^Thanks dark.

Besides the sex scene it doesn't sound like they added much significant stuff. Still though i'll check it out.

well i remember that i was a little shocked in the theater. i thought that it had something to do with the editing.

nope. its the same.
