The Dark Knight Happy 1st Birthday "The Dark Knight" !!!

Seems like for a lot of people (myself included) things were so much better last year, maybe not just because of TDK, but it was a factor, so to continue from someone's earlier post: "I mean...What happened?"

I caught it at the movies 4 times, but I've seen it many many many more times than that now for sure. :D Infact, I watched it on the way back home today. :hehe:

i saw it 3 times in the theater, which is a record for me
and more than 50 times on bluray

I wanted to finally watch Batman Begins & The Dark Knight back-to-back today, but I had a family picnic to go to :\

You know, I guess irony would be the right phrasing? The irony is thinking to what the Joker said to Dent. I had plans, plans I thought were going to be something and mean something, and it just went straight downhill.

All those plans started with this film. I mean it's not like I'm blaming the film, it wasn't the only factor however the original idea was centered around it. Apparently I was very gullible.

Happy birthday TDK!! Looking through the viral stuff today made me nostalgic and sad. Easily the most enjoyed movie experience of my life. Can't believe it has been a year. I wish the games kept going.

Happy birthday, Dark Knight. I can always count on you. :yay:

Happy Birthday, TDK!!!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see The Dark Knight in theaters (my parents thought it was too dark.. no pun intended) I did find a website though where you could watch movies online for free so I got to see it there (Note: it's only illegal if you upload or download movies, but not just to watch them) I remember hearing so much about it and of course that Christian Bale was in it, I decided to check it out (I'm actually a huge movie buff and would normally know all about this, but I was focusing on theatre at the time, so I had no clue about all the hype... :( ) I actually don't remember a lot about the first time I saw it, but I do remember being blown away. It was Heath Ledger's performance that really caught me too. He was one of those characters that just drew you in and whenever he wasn't onscreen, you were eagerly waiting for him to show up. I thought everyone else did a marvelous job as well... the only thing I was disappointed with was how long they had Harvey as Two-Face.. I was hoping to see a little more of him. It was an incredible movie and I can't believe it's been a year. Happy Birthday :)

I'm kinda late to the party.

Happy B-Day TDK!!

I know you're reading this TDK. I know you have alot of haters nowadays, but you're still my favorite movie of all time.

yea, its been 1 year latter and still a great movie to watch even today
i guess its safe to say it will be a cinema classic

Oh, I did celebrate to some extent Wednesday, a little bit early. I tried out my nurses outfit, and the cleaner looking nurses make-up application. (Next week I might try the dirty old Interogation look....)

The first year of many to come, as is the case with one for the ages.

That's when you take the DVDs/Blu-Rays to the picnic, get an armful of hotdogs, get a blanket and project it up onto said blanket. :hoboj:

I'll never forget where I was on that fateful day.

It was early, a little after 9, I was still asleep, but was quickly awoken by my mother. She seemed to be in shock. Saying stuff like "they did it. It finally happened. I can't believe it happened." So I hurried to my TV and turned on the news. And there it was, something I never thought I'd ever see, The Dark Knight. "We're at war" was the first thing I thought as I watched that beautiful The Dark Knight. And the world will never be the same again.
