you definately have the curves . the cartoon harley has the headpiece, make-up, mask, gloves, collar, puffy wrist sleeve things, the alternating colors, diamonds, the pointy shoes; she's got alot going on. i say if anything get one black, and one red Chuck Taylor, and possibly put your pigtails up a little higher

Wore my costume last night for my premiere party... I was going to make a collar and wrist ruffles, but I ran out of time and fabric. I'll probably fix it for the next time I wear it.

Th3KillingJoke: pigtails higher, definitely. Leggings make so much sense for Harley, though...did someone else suggest two different color chucks? I'd agree.

I pride myself on those pigtails. I'm a firm believer that any non-hooded Harley should be blonde.

Harley definitely looks better blonde, but I think you can still pull off the idea at least with any other colour of hair. I have black hair but I thought things turned out pretty good with my costume, I took LOTS of pics from the midnight screening I went to and will be posting them momentarily.
Originally I was going to do the whole mask-like makeup thing that I did with the previous costume pics I posted here... but I decided to mix it up a little and I did more joker-like makeup.

So as you can see, compared to the pics I posted from Halloween a couple pages back, there are a few differences. I love it though

I bought the costume off buycostumes.com and it actually was pretty nice.
I have to make a few minor adjustments--the mask is crap---my head isnt large at all but the mask broke while i was trying to pull over my head lol
but ill have pictures soon.
My hair is really long so theres a problem with that. Ill have to get some kinda hair cap to hold it all in.

But ill have pictures of it up soon.


I also like the different versions that where posted up here! I love the pigtails lemmasaurus! I wish my hair was blonde but i would look ridiculous lol


on a side note---i was thinking about possibly adding the smiling scars to my costume--any thoughts? Not sure just throwing it out there! let me know your thoughts!!!!

I am FOR the idea of a scarred Harley, because in my head she meets heath!Joker at Arkham is all OMG WE MUST BE TOGETHER. and scars up her own face to understand him better.

plus, let me tell you! the rigid collodion stuff? bloody ADDICTING; it's so awesome. I've posted myself in scars all over the TDK Joker Costume thread. hah.

Squidarella---Thats what i was thinking! lol The two of them scarred would be awesome! Ill have to try that rigid collodion stuff if i dont find prosthetic scars.

I bought some red skinny pants, in which I plan on dying one leg black and attatching diamonds in the appropriate places. I ordered a fleece hat version of her hood. Plan on wearing one red converse, one black, one red fingerless glove, one black, painting my face, and diamonds in the appropriate places. Going to make a small more necklace sized jester collar, and find two shirts of the same kind, in black and red and cut them apart, then sew them back together as one. Probably a black studded belt and whatever else modern I find that might pull it all together. The anime convention I plan on wearing it to is on the first SO, hopefully I'll have pictures up here for you guys to see soon! Considering the dark knight, I'm guessing I'll have lots of jokers to take pictures with at the convention.

Hey everyone. So I just joined... it was actually this topic that sparked me to join. I came across it while googling ideas for my Harley Quinn costume for this Halloween.
I've drawn up a few ideas, using not only my brainpower, but a lot of the things you guys posted as well (eg. slightly professional look because of her history, but also keeping the crazy villain side of things, and still being able to recognize it as Harley).
