the more I think of it, looking at some of these candidates, I wondering, does Harry really have to be the same age as Peter?

I wouldn't mind seeing a sightly older Harry (also don't really care for him going to the same high school as peter, I kinda preferred how TAS2 handled it saying they met at private school) or even just say Harry was a senior, when Peter was a freshmen, but cause Peter was so much smarter, he tutored Harry (an even after Harry finished school they stayed friends)

Well for me it all counts on what type of relationship harry and peter have. They should be within 2 or 3 yrs the same age.

That's why Isaac and Sangster could work together, but only look-wise (unfortunately, they are born nine years apart).

I think we will have new life once we do know who peter is. And can find compare able actor for harry. Heck for all we know we could be jumping the gun. And we don't fir example see harry gwen and mj. In first film. And just go with flash Liz Allen Sally avrial. And a few others.

Cameron Monaghan (for those of you who don't know, he was in Shameless USA, but more recently played Jerome in Gotham)

Seems to be an old pic (where he was younger lol).
You never know, they could go a different casting route for Harry.
Wouldn't be consistent with what they're doing for Peter, but you never know.

Now that we're closing in on getting our new Peter Parker, Charlie Rowe and Tom Holland are the most likely actors to be cast.
But each of of them needs his own Harry Osborn, someone who can match his specific acting personality.
Excuse me if I describe Rowe as a more "generic" actor than Holland. The element that speaks most in favour of him, is that he has the looks. Who can match him then?

And what kind of Harry is needed if Holland comes with his more unique take on Peter?

If Rowe gets the role, I could see Holland as Harry...

From the shortlist, I imagine Asa to be Tom's Harry. Well to be honest, none of the others will work. One has to include other options then, like Lofland, or Hedges.

Rowe's Harry can be Nick Robinson (from JW). But I wanna see Robbie Kay the most.

Are there any choices from the poll that can work? Not the oldest or youngest ones, ocf.

For me it's hard to pick a harry. To firdt we know for sure who is peter. And second if we get any details on how they want arty to be. Cause thst could effect choices ie whst ages they are looking for. Would they do a race bend and stuff like that.

well it likely be now any one in the 18-22 range. As who will be harry hard to decide untill we get some more details on him or if they cast norman before a harry if norman shows up in the first film.

It's not a strong opinion and I'm pretty open minded but I really liked the idea when he was suggested.

Nick Robinson is my current choice. Though I think Timothee Chalament would be good as well. Asa Butterfield would work as well if they still want to use him for something. I always got much more of a Harry vibe from him.

It depends on the type of Harry Osborn they want to go for. If they are going for of the Franco-Ultimate comics dashing looking - type then, I would actually go with Billy Unger.

He also looks like he could be the son of McCounahey the rumored choice for Norman. If they are going the more traditional -less confident Harry Osborn then Asa Butterfield might fit better .

Whoever they go with, i'd actually like to see Harry be Peter's friend for the first few films. Show how these two are truly close instead of rushing to get them to be enemies. That way, his fall has a much greater weight to it than in the previous Raimi and Webb films. There was always tension between them before they even became enemies.
