Voted for Tom Holland, he seems like he'd be a good choice

I thought Asa Butterfeld would have made a good Osborn; but if rumors are true that he got cut from Spiderman for saying something online then he might not be in the running for this either.

Yeah, Freddie Highmore! My choice for Peter, once again a would be Peter ends up a great Harry? (like Franco)

Aren't Monaghan, Highmore and Sangster too old to be Harry next to Tom Holland?

That rumours is just boll***s .The simple truth is Marvel and Sony find the other cator more appealing to them as PP/Spidey.Yes , I do think Asa could make a great Harry.

Somehow I think both Cameron Monaghan and Freddie Highmore as too old for Tom Holland's Spidey.

I wonder if we'll get w short list for Harry and MJ.

I guess Robbie Kay is out because he might only have worked next to Rowe. But let me try a "final six" type of list:

Liam James
Joel Courtney
Nathan Gamble
Jimmy Bennett
Hero Fiennes-Tiffin
Troye Sivan

I wouldn't be surprised if while they were looking for their next Spider-Man Marvel and Sony were also casting a Harry Osborn. Like how Marvel Studios found their Loki while they were auditioning Thors, and how Warner Bros. found their Scarecrow while auditioning Batmen. So I wouldn't be surprised if one of those young actors on the shortlist to play Peter Parker gets cast as Harry Osborn. Which one somewhat depends on who Marvel and Sony get to portray Norman.

I think so. Timothee Chalamet would be good. I like the choice of Gabriel Basso too.

If there is any truth at all to that McConaughey rumor for Norman, I think Chalamet is a safe bet for Harry. They already played father-and-son in Interstellar, after all.

Not Asa or Rowe. It will be weird if Harry looks more like Peter Parker than the actor chosen to play Peter Parker.

I don't think Highmore is at all too old for Holland. Harry's traditionlly been drawn as more "physically mature" anyway.

Neither is Sangster then. The guy looks years younger. But his birth year makes it impossible for it to happen. Let's save the read head for something else.
Highmore too, maybe as Nightwing (sorry Lerman fans).

I will now suggest Max Records for Harry and see everybody spit out their coffee :yay:

*Spits out coffee*

Going to be interesting to see what names are up for him. And what way character is going to go.

I would actually love if they skip the Norman/Harry dynamic entirely. If they feel the need to use a goblin, use the Hobgoblin. . . or specifically, the Mystery of the Hobgoblin. Have the Hobgoblin as a recurring villain, whose identity is unknown to everyone including the audience. Make it a subplot that Spidey investigates and finds clues over the course of several movies, with the big reveal being for a trilogy finale or some such. This would, admittedly, be dependent on a willingness to make it an actual mystery; this means he must *not* just be the character he was in the comics. Its got to be one of the supporting characters introduced over the course of the movies.

As much as I love to see Hobgoblin it likely won't happen for a long time. And just cause we may see harry and norman doesn't mean we will jump straight to goblin. They could just be supporting players for at least 2 films. Before norman takes a trip to the green side.

Seeing new pics of Robbie Kay (incl ones from the new Heroes show) makes me think he will be a great Harry after all.
