Holy ****ing ****! The best ****ing news ever! This show couldn't be more awesome!

Maybe Hawaii Five-O is purgatory for Jin and Locke.

The island scenes will be funny to see O'quinn and Kim again

Well, from the sound of it, he'll be interacting with Steve more than anyone else. Though it would blow my mind if the team welcomed him into the fold.

Tom Sizemore joins 'Hawaii Five-0' for season two arc -- EXCLUSIVE

Hawaii Five-0 has landed another well-known actor for its second season: Tom Sizemore is joining the CBS action-drama as a the head of Internal Affairs for a multi-episode arc.

The tough-guy performer best known for Saving Private Ryan, Red and Black Hawk Down will play a former Detroit Homicide Detective turned head of Hawaii police’s IA unit. After the events of last season, he is actively investigating the Five-0 unit and he’s not cutting them any slack (despite our heroes having the support of the new Governor).

The casting comes on the heels of Lost star Terry O’Quinn signing onto the series last week in a recurring role as a Navy Seal Lt. Commander who trained Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin).

Hawaii launched strong last fall and represented one of the few freshman shows to earn a second season. The cast additions could help bolster interest in the series this fall as it continues airing in its competitive Monday night period.

Oh, ****! :wow:

Will Sizemore be sober and clean when he does the episodes? The guy has had his issues in recent years. If he's clean and sober, he's a very underrated actor. If not, he's a huge risk which could greatly backfire on the producers of the show.

Those were my exact thoughts Dr. Evil.

Considering what they've been through with Sheen lately, I doubt CBS would want anything to do with Sizemore unless he's been cleaning up his act.

Dammit, CBS, give me some DVD news already! :cmad:

Comments from Hawaii Five-0 producer Peter Lenkov and actor Daniel Dae Kim

http://tvdramas.about.com/b/2011/06/23/terry-oquinn-locks-in-hawaii-five-o-role.htm

CBS announced that O'Quinn will first appear in the season premiere as a Navy Seal Lt. Commander who trained McGarrett in Coronado. He served in Vietnam with McGarrett's father and may have some answers about the murder of his parents.

"We are all honored and excited that Emmy Award-winning Terry O'Quinn, has joined our Hawaii Five-O 'ohana' (Hawaiian for family)," said Executive Producer Peter Lenkov. "O'Quinn's character, who we will meet in the premiere, is going to be a major contributor to our team...because he taught McGarrett everything he knows."

O'Quinn's new role also reunites him with his fellow Lost co-star Daniel Dae Kim, who had this to say about working with him again: "He's a great actor who brings a sense of ease and professionalism to every project he works on, and I'm excited to work with him again."

From TV Guide...
What can you tell me about this new "female McGarrett" that's joining Hawaii Five-0? — Leo
ADAM: She's a Homeland Security agent that the new governor has assigned to McGarrett's team — to spy on them, according to McGarrett. Though they get off to a rocky start, we can reveal that clothes will be shed during one of their first meetings!

So, aside from Terry O'Quinn and Sizemore, we're still waiting for this chick and the new governor to be cast.

Looks like we've got our new governor....

Five-0 Targets Terminator Vet for Governor Gig

Another Terminator franchise alum has been voted into the office of governor. Only this time, it’s for make-believe.

As reported by TV Guide Magazine, Richard T. Jones (of TV’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) has landed the recurring role of the man who was Lt. Governor to Jean Smart’s ill-fated politico, Pat Jameson. With the Hawaii honcho killed during the Season 1 finale, he claims the plum gig — but will keep a tighter leash on McGarrett and the Five-0 team. “[He'll be] cleaning up a lot of the mess left by the previous administration,” an insider tells the mag.

Jones is no stranger to wrangling strong personalities, having dogged Lena Headey’s Sarah Connor on Fox’s short-lived T:SCC, where he played an FBI agent. His other previous TV credits include Girlfriends, Judging Amy, and guest spots on Bones and Grey’s Anatomy.

The second season of Five-0 premieres Monday, Sept. 19. Other new additions include Lost‘s Terry O’Quinn (as McGarrett’s old Navy SEAL instructor) and Tom Sizemore (playing an IA investigator who gets up in Five-O’s grill).
I liked him on TSCC, so

I like Richard T Jones. Good underrated actor. He was hilarious in The Wood and good in TSCC and Why Did I Get Married

FYI. I spoke with Bob Orci at BotCon. He said they are staying in Hawaii and Grace Park isn't leaving.

No real surprises there, but good to know anyway.

I dont even see how people could've thought of the leaving Hawaii rumor.

I could've sworn that stupid rumor originated here...

Well people were saying she was leaving when the season finale came around.

It actually originated on TV Guide.com. It said it would be a female cast member and speculated Jean Smart or Grace Park. Well Jean Smart's character died so that pretty much ruled out Grace Park.

I wonder what will be the status of Michelle Borth's character since she played McGarretty's girlfriend in season 1 that was in the navy.

I saw Sizemore's sex tape.

Now that I've seen him naked, his name is effin' hilarious. :o

Actually we were talking about the rumors of the production leaving Hawaii. It's my personal belief that if you have the name of a real location in your title, you are obligated to film there. You dont film The Streets of San Francisco in Vancouver, you dont film Las Vegas in Chicago and you dont film Hawaii Five-0 anywhere outside of Hawaii. :o

Sizemore is still a risky move. It could be a brilliant decison because when he's clean, Sizemore is a very talented actor. Or it could backfire and he could relapse. We'll see how that goes.

When is that dude ever clean?

It's not going to kill the show. Also, with the filming down in Hawaii I doubt he will stay clean either. Remember all the LOST cast members with their DUI's?

What happened to the chick he was already seeing ?
