I now plan to bring in some amalgams, as characters tap into the power of the egg
I have a vision for the book ending with there being a main earth with all main companies characters co-existing,
and there being many parallel earth versions like back in the old days. Imagine spidey/spawn, ultimate cap/earth-1 cap, group meetings between JLA/X-men/Authority/Avengers etc

depending on the page, about 14 -20 hours of actual drawing time usually spread out over a couple of weeks

How on earth do you pencil that much detail without smudging it to death?

i sometimes am forced to adhere to the old rule of drawing left to right and reverse that if your left handed

On post 1 of this thread are some of my thumbnails followed by the actual pages if that helps any.

I usually thumb out the whole layout for flow purposes. Sometimes the reference dictates part of the composition(search for my black canary vs black widow thread)

For this last page I happen to be skimming through supes/bat #50 and saw this layout

and new something similar would work for what i had in mind, i added Thor coming in from one side to show that he and DD will go at it, and Supes from the right headed towards Red Hulk
