He looks creepy as Hell. He's the Westeros Howard Hughes lmao

Yeah, the guy had issues alright. It wasn't even so much that he was evil it was just that he was unstable and volatile, from the way they describe him it seemed like he was genuinely unwell.

Yea that's how it sounds in the show at least. The books probably more so, I don't know there. But yea, he sounded like he was actually off his rocker

Ok, I have a question for all the book fans here. Is it ever explained more thoroughly why exactly The Hound becomes a deserter? Like, in the show you just get the feeling that he got pissed at Joffrey not fighting during the Battle of Blackwater and that he was a bit scared due to the wildfire but was it ever expanded upon exactly why he did that? In the first two seasons he seems so loyal and I remember when that first happened in the show it totally took me by surprise that he would just dip out like that in the middle of the battle.

^basically the same I believe, Tyrion wants him back on the battlefield, then he goes to Sansa room and tries to get her to leave with him

Well it was mostly the Pyrophobia that got to him at the end. The dude's fear of fire is pretty intense and he just realized fighting amongst all that fire and death for Joffrey's sake wasn't worth it in the end. Plus at that point it seemed like Stannis was going to win, so really it was a combination of things that fed into his fear of fire that made him think '**** this ****' and leave.

first, he left the battle because he is completely utterly absolutely afraid of fire ( as his face was burned by his brother) and the whole fleet burning with wildfire took the best from him.

second, he thougth the battle was lost. and he decided he would not die for those ****** lannisters , so he went all " the **** with them, im out". he didn't even stop and think about how dishoounorable deserting was, because his life isn't ruled by honor and every knightly trait, he despises knights and everything that has to do with them, so therefore desertion was not a major problem for him.

this is my opinion though. i could be wrong, or maybe im forgetting some things

Thanks guys. I've just always wondered if they hinted at more in the books or something. Haha he did go right to Sansa too. Hound indeed

HAHA! That's honestly about how i always pictured him. I always thought of King Theoden in his entranced state or whatever when i would picture everything going down with him and Jaime

Rewatching season 1. Man, I bet Robert's rebellion was ****ing epic. I wanna see that **** in live action so damn bad. I wonder if it was as big as the War of Five Kings though? Wish that flashback had made it into the show at least. Sucks having no image for The Mad King in your mind at all when they talk about him. I'd at least like to know what he looked like

I've always said that a 6 episode miniseries about Roberts Rebellion would be awesome. End it with his defeat of Rhaegar on the trident and his coronation.

I was able to get a copy of the Wolf slip cover at Best Buy on Tuesday. it was the only one there and it was on some cart filled with to be stocked GOT blu rays.

So excited to crack this open

Fan-Made Game of Thrones trailer is better than all the HBO trailers

[YT]9QyCmG7EVsQ[/YT]

Instead of using hyper-fast cuts of characters looking ominously just past the camera YouTube user LadyDogTrailers cobbled together all the official Game of Thrones trailers HBO's released, and recut it so you can see what's actually happening, to Lorde's cover of the Tears for Fears song "Everybody Wants to Rule the World." It is fan-freaking-tastic.

All I can say is BOSS!

This isn't better. It just combined clips from the two released trailers and added Lorde's garbage cover of a song that already sucked to begin with. She's more incoherent than Springsteen.
