You're most likely right, but you never know with fans. No need to apologize to me, chilax.

Arguebly, King Joffrey's death was spoiled too when HBO was showing so many trailers with Tywin sitting on the Iron Throne.

Thinking about it, considering it's episode 9, what I mentioned will be the big event of the year, like Ned's death, Lannister victory at Blackwater and Robb's death.

This season has been different. Episodes 2 and 8 from this season already felt like event episodes. Tonight's episode and the finale will too, I'm sure.

I knew this season would be epic, just soooo much had to happen.

Yeah it's because the War was won and you need new things to start brewing.

Pretty much what Drz said. Originally they had to set up the War of the Five Kings, the conflict at the Wall and Viserys and Dany in the east.

Speaking of the war being won, are they ever going to kill
Balon
? It just seems like they've forgotten

Well.... I have a theory that it will happen at the 5th season premiere. Considering that the Damphair's first chapter at Feast happens the day after.

I know. [BLACKOUT]Going by book chronology, he should have died last season. They could have fit it in episode 6 when we saw Asha Yara again. I don't see them including his death in the finale, there's already going to be a lot going on. They might just be saving it for next season when they introduce his brothers and shift the focus back to Pyke a bit....I hope. [/BLACKOUT]

Yeah I guess they could open 5 with it. But I just can't help but think if we feel like it's been forgotten, I can only imagine what regular Joes feel. I seriously doubt they'll remember him.

Was really hoping that we would get Victarion this season, but I agree that it's best to leave the introductions of so many Greyjoys or characters in general for S5. Can't wait for The Crow's Eye either.

I sort of understand why they're prolonging their introduction. There have been so many deaths this season (with more to come) that it would make more sense to wait until a few characters are out of the way before bringing more into the fold to avoid overcrowding the show.

During the mock play in the Purple Wedding:

Potential Spoilers for Season 5: [BLACKOUT]Balon drowned[/BLACKOUT].

So maybe they'll do something with that.

They can still frame that with what happened in the books.

Right, which makes it seem like Season 5 will be mostly involving
The Greyjoys & The Sand Snakes (Dornish Activity)

26 minutes and counting! Yes tonight will certainly be wild and looking to top the Blackwater episode from S2. I'm interested to see how they flex their budget here.

Kind of like Littlefinger's saying:
some die on their chamber pots?

Tonight's Game of Thrones was simply epic and amazing. Easily one of my favorite episodes of the series. And the score on this episode, my god loved it.

Man, how far have they come on the scale on this show?

Either my memory is bad or they changed a couple things.

Didn't John Snow actually kill his little girlfriend himself and didn't the tunnel underneath Castle Black get blocked up when they killed the giant in it to the point where it couldn't be used? Or am I just remembering those things wrong?

Absolutely epic and amazing episode. That camera pan through the battle was :wow:! And Kit is a hell of a swordsman!

And Jon Snow remains my favorite character on the show
