Some seem disappointed that we're leaving center stage in King's Landing for this episode, which is one of the reasons it's arguably important for this episode to be memorable and a major hit.

With Tyrion vacating King's Landing after killing Tywin and Stannis and Melisandre joining Jon at the Wall, a lot of attention is going to be shifting there next season, especially with Jon becoming Lord Commander. Cersei's still going to hold the fort at the capital, but we're getting closer to the point where the setting will be Ice (the Wall and the North) and Fire (Essos and Mereen, thanks to Tyrion joining the Targrayen(s) regime.)

That would fit well with the overall streamlining of the last two books of the series for television.
