Needle Arya Reunion!

I'm sorry, but your theory that Had Arya and Needle been reunited earlier, sthey would have uncovered the red wedding trap doesn't make sense.

Just for the sake of the argument, let's assume Arya did find Needle earlier. Do you really think this little sword would have been enough to battle the hound? I certainly don't think so. Granted, Arya has some basic training and can do some serious damage with that sword, but we're talking about a dude with a big armour, who has been seen repeatedly avoiding death, and who is a skilled warrior.

Even if she did manage to escape, do you really think a little girl with a sword would be enough to fight all the Freys, considering they had bows and how easily they butchered the king in the nort and his men? That doesn't make sense either.

I'm not trying to upset you, but clearly, your theory can't work like at all. This is the truth, plain and simple.

It really ****ing bugs me that we haven't had one bit of exposition explaining Maester's chains! Damn it! These books are ruining the show for me! They're just so much richer. I'm almost done with the first book and I will say that the show has done a great job of choosing which scenes to leave out and made some amazing decisions with the original material they've added. The Maester's chains really bugs me though. Maester's Luwin could've explained them to Bran or something. I didn't think much of them while I was reading but once I started watching some episodes and they actually show them wearing the chains it just drives me nuts that nothing is ever mentioned about them at all. Why even include them in the show?

When the meaning of the chain will be relevant in the show it will be explained, so far it is not the case.
You can't expect every tiny details to be shown or explained.

I'm pretty sure Maester Luwin explained it to Bran in season 1 or 2 when he told him about his dreams.

Will it ever be relevant to the story? And I'm not sure if he did. I certainly don't recall it and I have watched every episode a number of times now but this show is so dense it isn't outside the realm of possibility that I missed it. It's just something cool to add to the world created in the show. When you see their chains there's obviously some significance in the different links. It's honestly not something I'm like losing sleep over or nuthin but just something I thought was cool in the books and was surprised to actually notice them wearing them on the show but not recalling it being explained or addressed.

Here's the scene. "What is Dead May Never Die", Season 2, Episode 3:

The Maesters become important later. Book Spoiler: [blackout]Sam goes to Oldtown to become one.[/blackout]

So, I bought the Game of Thrones game on PS3, through PSN. It's on sale for $6.99, so I thought why the hell not.

After downloading it, and installing it on my PS3...when it sits idle on the app, on the home screen, the Iron Throne takes up the entire screen and the full theme song from the show blasts through my speakers.

It was already worth the price and I haven't even played it yet. :)

slaughtering the Greyjoy men, makes sense given hes cover in blood when he goes to Theon

I don't understand. What theory?

It's a theory Ramsay told me about in PM about Arya being able to save the king in the north, had her been reunited with Needle earlier. It doesn't make a lick of sense, but Ramsay is such a joker that it comes off as no surprise.

i guess Needle has a force field that blocks arrows, swords and traitorous *******s

Read a nice spoiler free review of the first 4 eps... according to them, a series high point.

She would have used her mad water-dancing techniques to kill all the Freys, no problem. Of course, she wouldn't be able to get inside the wedding, and would therefore fail to save her family.

Has anybody heard of this new chapter from Winds of Winter Martin released recently? The chapter is titled Mercy. Who the Hell could it be?
