Oh no they didn't...

I guess they needed to cut him so there'd be enough screen time for sexposition and torture porn.

I really hope they didn't cut him.

Well the question was about Sam related stuff that was cut so I think he was just saying he wished they had Cold hands for the scenes in season 3.

To an extent yeah. I know a lot of people were disappointed by the way Jon, Stannis and Dany's storylines were handled. But at the same time Blackwater was such an achievement for the show and for television in general that I don't think it's met with too much disapproval.
Was there any clue that Blackwater would be so well realised ahead of time? Like from trailers and stuff like that. Otherwise I can imagine the hardcore fan places getting a bit downbeat. They needed to step it up on at least one major action set piece early on if there's going to be any chance of them doing the final season action justice.

Ya know what I would absolutely love to read? A novel about Mance leaving the Night's Watch and amassing his army beyond the wall. That couldn't have been an easy feat at all.
I hear he's a good character in the books. I found the wildlings in general to be a bit boring in the show including Mance and Ygritte got annoying after a while. I thought Tormund and Orell were more interesting though.

Blackwater was being hyped by the showrunners, critics, everyone was looking forward to it knowing that it's such a massive event and that most of the news about that episode was exciting. It was hyped all the way back in season 1 comic con.

I wonder how the Battle of Fire will play out. They'll need a handsome budget. So the Coldhands stuff was just in reference to season three?

I hope they did not excise Coldhands...from the visual and narrative standpoints, he's awesome...especially if the popular theory about him turns out to be true.

what's the Battle of Fire? the one at [BLACKOUT]Mereen in ADWD[/BLACKOUT]?

Look at the Siege of Meereen this season. **** looks massive in scope. Every season it gets a budget increase so I'd say we wouldn't need to worry on that account. It's basically gonna be a bigger Blackwater but set in Essos.

Except with volcanic arms :o

Walking Dead is finally over...just in time for dat Game of Thrones.

Veep shmeep. :o

It's Game of Thrones, then Louie...then...then...um...sh**. Nothing in the Summer. :csad:

I think hes referring to either the [blackout] Coldhands is an undead Benjen [/blackout] theory, or the [blackout] Coldhands is the Night's King [/blackout] theory.

personally i believe it is the second one. because the first one is too easy coming from GRRM.

another one i have is that :
he is not the Night's King but the son of the NK and the She-Other. i don't know if that is even possible  though i believe it is the Night's King

Yeah I think it's the latter as well. There's some interesting there when you consider it all.
