I'm down for some Latino heat on Game of Thrones. And, honestly, with some of the non-spoiler stuff I've heard (it's only been non-spoiler stuff really) of Oberyn being an honorable dude who isn't an idiot, that sounds like something that could counteract the cynicism most seem to get from Game of Thrones (ie: all good people are stupid and wind up dead for being good, and therefore stupid, while the cutthroats are smarter than everyone, because they're not good, and will win and come out unscathed) has me excited after the Red Wedding. I'm a Stark guy, so seeing someone whose even a half decent human being **** some **** up, hopefully Lannister ****, then I'm probably going to root for that dude.

And I'm not so much saying that the cynicism crigitque is entirely accurate, but that does seem to be how most people view it.
