High Sparrow is a real human being and a real hero!

It's funny how Tyrion and Jaime had blond hair during season 1, now we have a blond Shireen Baratheon haha.

PS. Just making a gest, i don't think the show needs to have a young actress' dye her hair.

But i do hope we see a certain character sporting his blue lips, and another character with dyed blue hair. :cwink:

That is a good point. :funny:

Does Jaime show any obvious awareness that the kids are his?

Maury Povich would die of exhaustion in Westeros.

Cersei didn't spend much time with Robert in that sense, and Jaime knew that. He knows they are his.
Yeah, he hides it quite well. Wonder what he thinks of Joffrey lol.

Now that I see Ramsay outside of torture chambers I think he's going to be good. Roose Bolton is a master of his art. And the guy playing Theon is doing a good job too.

I can't really bring myself to hate Roose (despite the obvious reasons) due to Michael McElhatton's awesomeness as him. It'll be interesting to see how the Boltons' plans to find the Stark boys unfolds.

The story with Theon and Ramsay is the one I'm most interested in right now.

Seriously, has there ever been a tv character so hated as much or more so than Joffrey? When it turned out he had been poisoned I was disappointed because I wanted him to die a visibly torturous death but then as his death scene unfolded, the smile on my face grew bigger and bigger...

They already made it more blatantly more brutal by having his nose bleed, clearly showing he was poisoned instead of choking.

Yeah but the nose bleed didn't occur straight away, it happened after he was coughing and choking, hence why I mentioned as the scene unfolded I became increasingly happier at what I was seeing. Joffrey suffered a satisfyingly harrowing and painful death. It was perfect.

The one who poisoned Joffrey was the one who put the poison into the cup. Hope that helps.
Might have been the cake too. They made a barely subtle hint that a bird died in the cake from eating it.

Those birds were dead because Joffrey sliced them with his sword while cutting the pie.

I thought so too at first but the camera lingered there for a moment longer than necessary which is why I think it was also meant to question whether the cake was poisoned.

The cup is the obvious choice. He drank from it right after eating a piece of cake. Maybe it is a combination of the two. Drinking the wine alone won't do it but the wine with the cake.

I haven't read the books so I don't know how it went down there but the television series has taken its own route from time to time I hear so it isn't out of the question there is more to it than merely the cup.

Yeah, a few doves died for the 'majestic' awe of the crowd from having the doves swarm into the air. Was kind of like seeing that even something as simple as that can still be ****ed up in Westeros.

Pretty sure it was the wine. Joffrey was fine until that second round of wine. And if it's the poison I think it is, the one Maester Cressen tried using on Melisandre, then that **** works very fast.

I think in terms of showing Joffrey was poisoned, I think the most important thing to let the audience know he was poisoned. You don't want them, us, to be confused about it. And if Cersei is supposed to accuse Tyrion anyway, even if the signs are not clearly poison, then what's the use in not making it clear for the storytelling? So, I could see those factors playing into the decision making of how it went down.

I have my prime suspect, too. I'm only on book two, so I don't have inside knowledge on who it could be. But, going by what was presented on the show...I think it's obvious who the assassin was.
