They are in the Vale.

There's a lot more than that over at the other site... Here are some of the highlights

Do the first few show Arya and the Hound in the Eyrie?

Also.. (book/show/whatever spoilers)

We'll definitely see Jorah's exile next week. It's obvious from those stills, plus in the Episode #7 recap ("Previously on..." which will be shown next week) it has scenes from Season 1 talking about how Jorah is spying on Dany for Varys.

Yeah...

It looks like Jorah is on his way out. One of the lowest points of Dany's arc. I wonder if they're going to let it come to pass without Jorah making an awkward move on her? Hasn't happened yet, and I don't know that it'll happen now, given that he's well aware she's hooked up with Daario. That'd keep him particularly sympathetic on the show.

I am really going to hate it that we have another set of Starks so close to one another and they wont come in contact.

Its kinda needless, GRRM really only used it once with Arya and the Red Wedding. That was enough in my opinion, no need to ****e it out.

CBM.

This is gonna be really interesting to see how it plays out. I mean, they look relatively happy, Arya especially, so it's not like they're being captured. I'd like to believe we'll see a Stark reunion on Sunday but that would seriously affect her storyline for Season 5/6 and would be a massive deviation. Does Littlefinger know what Arya looks like? (show spoilers)

Maybe we'll learn about the "Fake Arya" thing next week and show Tywin sending her to Roose and Ramsay, then show Littlefinger learn about it via raven, and then the real Arya comes to him but he thinks the Hound is offering her a fake because he thinks the real Arya is in Winterfell, sending them away. That would be heartbreaking :csad:

Ah, yeah, forgot about that. Scratch my idea then :oldrazz:

Since Littlefinger has seen Arya before, maybe (Book 3-4-5 spoilers)

he orders the Vale knights to capture Arya once she's in the Vale. The Hound takes on a load of them and Arya flees, leaving his fate ambiguous. She then finds a ship that takes her to Braavos. Littlefinger is then forced to send a fake Arya up to Winterfell.

Hmm, yeah, I could see that happening.

Why would Littlefinger be the one to send Fake Arya to Ramsay and not Tywin?

Book spoilers for 4 and 5

I was thinking of how in the books, Fake Arya had been trained in one of Littlefinger's brothels. In the show, Littlefinger could still be in communication with Tywin so that he's got a hand in it.

Some fan questions/answers from Live Q&A with GRRM's Editor, Anne Groell

This right here is irritating:

Have you ever tried convincing George into using a laptop for writing and writing on the road instead of only writing on his computer at home?

Good gracious, yes! Multiple times. He is one stubborn man, and very set in his ways, though.

If he wants to do all this other stuff on the road then he needs to be writing on the road. Its no wonder he cant get the books finished. He's never at home to write anything.

So sick of your BS, George.

Oh and this:

We know that the producers of the TV show Game of Thrones know in broad strokes the ending of the main character arcs of A Song of Ice and Fire. Without giving anything away, do you know the ending, too?

No. George is a very secretive fellow, and guards his secrets well. I do know a few things from AWOW, but mainly because we had to shorten a few elements in the book as it was already getting too long, and he had to reveal a few secrets so I could help him redirect parts of the plot a bit.

When will TWOW be released?

I currently have 168 pages that he submitted back in Feb 2013 in order to receive a contracted payment, but I know more exists, because he keeps talking about chapter he hasn’t yet sent me.

So the book is already getting too long winded and she has the same 168 pages she had a year ago...

Honestly, we will be lucky if we get this book by next decade.

And this:

Do you think it will take GRRM more then 7 books to finish ASOIAF?

I begin to wonder—though 7 is what we currently have under contract. I remember when he called me, years and years back, to confess that his little trilogy was…well…no longer a trilogy. He predicted four books. I said Seven Books for Seven Kingdoms. Then he said five books. I said Seven Books for Seven Kingdoms. Then he went to six. I said… Well, you get it. Finally, we were on the same page. Seven Books for Seven Kingdoms. Good. Only, as I recently learned while editing THE WORLD OF ICE AND FIRE (another awesome thing you must buy when it comes out!), there are really technically eight kingdoms, all having to do with who has annexed what when Aegon the Conqueror landed in Westeros. So, maybe eight books for Seven Kingdoms would be okay. Also, he has promised me that, when he finally wraps this great beast, I can publish the five page letter outlining the bare bones of the “trilogy.”

Based on this Im willing to bet we are getting 8 books at least.

What annoys me more than GRRM and his slow writing is fans *****ing about his slow writing.

Well, I was giving him the benefit of the doubt until I read that interview and found out he only writes at home. Now every new project he takes on that has him on the road is more time he wont be writing. Its ridiculous that he refuses to write on the road, but continues to take on more projects that puts him on the road.

But mostly Im frustrated with his publisher. They could put a stop to this, but they keep on letting him procrastinate like a child and get distracted like he's got some severe case of ADD.

Why didn't you post this in the book thread?

Well, my Bastard is a fool for posting this here, but given that there's been a lot made recently about separating book/show discussions in this thread, you really don't help the case by discussing things like this here.

In Ramsays defense the interview does discuss the show too. I just discussed that bit because it was the most juicy bit of the interview and this is where 99% of GOT traffic is on the forums.

I wish they'd just give us a GOT section. That way we could have a book spoiler thread for the show. There just isnt enough traffic in the book section to have any decent convo in the GOT Book thread.

Yeah, ideally we'd have our own section like Arrow, Walking Dead and such. That'd work out best and allow for greater diversity. And unlike a lot of other shows airing, this world is big enough that it could easily support itself for greater discussion.

Yep! Especially once that "World of Ice and Fire" book comes out. That thing is going to be filled with history, lore, and facts about the world. The potential discussions are endless.

Well we can make an impassioned plea with Hunter.
