That scream, that did it for me.

So much I want to say...

No need. :woot:
I broke down and read the Wiki. I'm kind of pissed he dies from poison like Joffrey. People might roll their eyes at what I'm typing out but poison isn't enough as far as I'm concerned. Not saying that poison isn't a painful death but both of them deserved worse deaths, something really drawn out and torturous.

Well I was surprised too and I've read it. It's been a while but I think he just got killed by a punch in the face.

He was beaten a few times. I do remember the first punch his teeth were knocked out, and then the Mountain smashed his head on the ground a few times or something. But I don't remember him literally crushing his head in his hands. But it has been two years since I've read it.

Just a note, but I thought I heard the Mountain's actor was contracted for a total of three episodes. So we should be seeing the after effects of this fight next week as well.

We'll see in two weeks. Next week's episode is entirely at the Wall.

And the Sansa/Littlefinger stuff is creeping me out. Someone needs to call Ser Chris Hansen of House Dateline.

Nobody mentioned Tyrion's little speech about the bug smasher. Don't recall if it was in the books or not, but I enjoyed Dinklidge's delivery. :)

I just read the Wiki on him.
If they want him to be like he is in the book, they need to find an actor bigger than the guy who played The Mountain. Damn this guy sounds like a beast.

The question is: Is there a bigger guy?

I just remember him smashing his face in with his fist. He definitely didn't crush his head like Gallagher.

I need a gif of Tyrion and Jaime mocking their cousin squashing beetles

Tywin and Cersei are truly morons if they think that this isn't dangerous for Myrcella. That poor girl is in Dorne with the family of Oberyn. Who Tywin and Cersei just watched have his head caved in by their Champion.

I understand Oberyn wanted The Mountain to confess to his crimes but I was on the edge of my seat saying to my wife that he's being too cocky and it's going to bite him in the ass. Well, it wasn't his ass that got bit... :(

I agree. He showed he was the better fighter but instead of getting the last easy kill he wanted a confession. This is game of thrones, be happy with a victory, he overreached.

The Mountain's death very drawn out and very torturous

I wanted to punch Cersei's smug smirk when The Mountain won. :argh:

Ive been wanting to smash her smug little face in for a while now. :p

:funny:

On a lighter note, I LOOOVE Jaime and Tyrion's beetle talk. Especially that part where they were mimicking the noises their cousin was making. :awesome:

Wow, I think that was even more brutal than the book. Tyrion's face perfectly encapsulated that moment from when I first read that sequence.

Two of my favorite actors playing two of my favorite characters just killing that scene. Wonderful! :)

It is amazing to me how much better a spoken scene can be than one you read because so all the nuances that carry over in speech. Silence of Lambs was good for this in the conversations between Lecktor and Clarice. :)

Was I the only one who burst out laughing when Tyrion brought up their old maester during the beetle story and Jaime said, "He tried to touch me once"?
