I was hoping they'd end season three with Stoneheart. At the time, I was disappointed when it didn't happen, but looking back on it I'm kind of glad they didn't. If it's Brienne and Pod who find her it'll be way more perfect than just the Brotherhood finding her. There's no way they can end this season without it. And non-book readers will go ape **** when it happens. The only thing that worries me slightly is that there hasn't even been a report of a Michelle Fairley sighting on set, but they would keep that a guarded secret anyway. But besides that, Lady Stoneheart as the last scene fits with them wrapping up on a supernatural note like the first two seasons did.

nobody knows for a fact that Catelyn is being resurrected for the last episode? It better. Because that was just the jaw dropping cherry to an incredible cake. I mean that's the perfect way to end a season right there.

Also, Oberyn's scene was good, particularly his telling of him seeing baby Tyrion, perfectly captured from the book. Yet one of my favorite moments from the book, to which Oberyn's way of telling him he'll be his champion was much better in the book. And it still would have fit in this context too.

Is it just me, or does anyone else get infuriated by the utter stupidity of Alliser Thorne and Janos Slynt at the Night's Watch?

Definitely not just you.... gah. Frustrating me to no end.

When he tells Jon to pen/cage Ghost up or else he'll have the cook make him part of the stew, part of me was hoping he would try... would be nice to see Ghost thin out some of the stupid that's currently running Castle Black.

The actor playing Sam said his scenes with Coldhands were cut, heavily implying that there is no Coldhands.

I thought the new Mountain was a vast improvement over season 2's. This guy actually looks like the character.

Loved the way they reintroduced the Mountain, very reminiscent of Season 1's "SWOOORD!!!" moment.

I was waiting for someone at that meeting to state the obvious:

Its common ****ing sense. And the head builder knows it, but for some reason he was afraid to say it.

He may not have officially said yes, but anyone paying attention could see that he thinks sealing the tunnel is the wise choice so I expect that tunnel to be sealed before episode 9. Thorne can suck a bag of ***** for all anyone cares. He's gonna get them all killed, and he needs to remember that Castle Black is occupied by rapists, murders, and common criminals. If its between Thorne's orders and living and making sure the Night's Watch survives they will choose life and the Watch every time.

Yeah he was with Tywin at Harrenhall. He was the tall skinny dark haired guy in Lannister armor.

It was some awful casting. He isn't like a mountain at all. He is just tall. More tree like if you ask me. They should have called him the Tree in season 2.

The guy in season 2 was skinnier, but I thought he was kinda intimidating when he was choosing the next prisoner for the Tickler to interrogate. Of course, the guy in Season 1 was the best and I like the new one too.

My only problem with this new Mountain is that the actor is 24 and the Mountain is supposed to be the older brother of The Hound whose actor is in his mid 40's. I just can't believe that he is the older brother and it really sticks out that this is the third actor to play him.

At least they got someone genuinely big this time. The last guy back in Season 2 looked like they had to find a replacement in a hurry and that was the best they could do. This time I suspect that they were able to take the time to parse through all the candidates to find the right guy.

Most people probably don't even remember the guy from season 2 or that it was meant to be him. And the guy from the first season is so far removed most people probably don't remember him that well either.

No. The white walker that delivered the baby had a horse that had no meat on its head. The horse in the vision still has a lot of meat on its head. So dont lose hope just yet. CH may yet show up.

A news piece came out last year saying that Emilia doesnt want to do anymore nudity on the show. I thought it was BS at the time, but it would appear that its true.

There was also a rumour that she was the reason that Daario got recast because she didn't like the actor. Of course it turned out that Daario got the flick because he wanted equal pay to the leads. I think the Emilia/nudity clause is equally ********.
