Okay, I'm excited. Jamie Clayton looks and sounds great. This looks like a proper Hellraiser movie.

I hope they get the music right. Christopher Young's scores for the first two sound so epic.

these are the only good ones. lol.
hellraiser 1 is the best.
hellbound is very good.
bloodline was decent but at least tried to tell an ambitious story.

I tweeted the same screenwriter earlier again about my guesses on what the visual references/images homages to Evangelion were in the trailer, and he liked that comment as well. I get the feeling that there might be quite a bit more in the actual film.

I have to say as well, there’s some striking imagery in this trailer. The wide shot of the elongated pyramid shape emerging from clouds in what I assume is the realm of the Cenobites, and the shot overhead of what looks like a gargantuan version of the Configuration covering half of the frame over the maze. For having what seems to be a small budget, this looks fairly ambitious from a visual standpoint.

To the knowlegeable people on Hellraiser history :
is the puzzel box in this serie the same as the movies ?
if it is the same box, was it stated in other medium (novels, comic etc) that said box could have more configurations than The Lament one ?

i think its still the lament box for this new one, they just changed the design up a bit.
man that thing stabs you when you solve it now.
anyone in their right mind who see a puzzle box like that will know that it is EVIL and run away.

but i think the box is an allegory about addiction...especially with this new film.

maybe goran visnjic's character is tricking all these young drug addicts to solve the box under false pretense of a new high, but he's really sacrificing them to the cenobites?
