they're complaining about pinhead being female now even though in the source material the character was described as genderless / vaguely female.

They've also clearly never watched a Hellraiser movie in their lives. Because I mean those movies were full of sexual subtext and metaphors.

Or they have and they are just trying to push their moronic algorithm of negativity outrage. Social media and YouTube only make it worse and basically passively and casually enable it.

Was there. It was fine. Hellraiser is just not my thing and the audio mix is horrific to sit through. 95% sure they played a 2.1 (3.1 at best) mix because it was all fronts and super flat, which made the cacophony at the end super unpleasant to sit through.

The Chucky series is the same as Ash Vs Evil Dead was if I recall. A direct continuation of the films. So it’s all connected and canon. It picks up after Cult.
