I'd say if he won over both the studio execs and Gadot, then he's definitely the guy they want and soon it's a matter of dotting the 'i's and crossing the 't's.

Pine works because you need a guy that gives off a heroic vibe yet would still be totally believable as an occasional damsel in distress that gets in over his head and needs help. It's a fine line.
