Well, I don't think that WW thinks less of someone like Superman or herself because they have powers. But I would agree that when she is attracted to a normal, flesh-and-blood human, it's because he is someone who is tough as nails and doesn't back down even when confronted by people who are clearly more powerful.

I'm pretty sure Pine's characterization as Trevor will be more along the lines of the New 52 version where he is much like Cruise's Ethan character from the Mission Impossible franchise.

This is what I believe the multiple films contract actually means, not only WW. I think he'll at least show up in JL.

I'm really happy that Pine was chosen. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea, but I find him charismatic and fun to watch. We definitely won't get a flat and boring Steve. His star power will benefit this movie as well.

It's a good fit on a couple of levels and I am not even Pine's biggest fan (frankly... I find him a bit lackluster in his signature role in Trek... While admitting he's been better in other things, namely INTO THE WOODS).

He's just a big enough name to add credibility to the film while at the same time not so big as to overshadow the star or the property itself, which are both WW.

Seeing him with some gray in his beard I kind of hope he is played as being a bit older instead of assuming he's an eternally youthful 29 year old Air Force Col.

I enjoyed the Steve Trevor interpretation in flashpoint paradox, justice league war justice league aquaman, and even the gods and monsters. Although two of those are elseworlds, in all cases a strong tie to the US government and kinda both helping WW specifically and the justice league in general.

+1 for Trevor/Waller and even COL Flag getting involved in the plot lines!

I'm searching for some movies with Pine, and thus far I've discovered that he has worked with

- Affleck, Ryan Reynolds and Common on Smokin' Aces (which might be a record for cape characters' actors together in other films)
- Tom Hardy in This Means War (produced by Will Smith)
- Margot Robbie in Z for Zacharia

Plus, he played Jack Ryan, which was also played by Affleck
