He's got a date with an Angel... Chris Pine IS Steve Trevor!

Chris Pine is Steve Trevor.. Thoughts?

  • He will rock!! Just look at that couple!

  • Don't like the casting

  • I expected him for some other role

There is no proof that he is playing anyone else. This isn't a case where they say which character he is playing and people invent crazy theories that he isn't actually that character, like Joker being actually Jason, or Bruce being Slade. His character is still unknown, and Steve fits the role/looks. Makes more sense than the current theory that he's Dick in disguise that so many people believe in.

Yeah, I'm not going down that rabbit hole. Good luck. Give Lynda my regards down there. She will always be a foxy lady.

I don't believe that ******** Dick theory so...I very rarely believe random fanboy musings.

I'm not saying I believe Scott's character is going to be modern Steve, but I believe there's a possibility and it's not a crazy theory or something to be shamed for believing, as his character is still unknown. So it's not like the Jason or Slade theories that are complete BS.

This is totally different. He could actually be modern day Steve. Probably not, but could be. After all we still don't know who he is, if he is someone relevant.

It's a bit different, only because this is not the case of character's identity being changed, but it's still on verge of being bat**** crazy if you ask me.

I'm a little sad that Trevor won't be in the present day and getting to be the Leagues liaison.

Has this been posted? From Eh Maybe.

About That Steve Trevor Pic In 'Wonder Woman' http://bit.ly/1ObORog

Said Taghmaoui caused a lot of confusion the other day when he released what seemed like the first set pictures from Wonder Woman.
It showed both him and Chris Pine as Steve Trevor in wardrobe that looks like it dates back to World War One, one of the rumored time periods which Wonder Woman is supposed to take place.

A lot of folks were confused and thought we would see Steve Trevor in the modern day, not in the past. Well, those folks are correct because you see that picture above in the banner ISN'T Steve Trevor.

The rumor according to sources is that Chris Pine in that picture is playing Steve Trevor's GRANDFATHER!

You see, during the World War One section of the movie, Steve Trevor's grandfather is the one that crashes on the island and meets Gal Gadot's Diana. Grandpa Trevor is the one who shows Diana the outside world and helps her beat Ares. He then passes away.

In modern times, Diana meet's Grandpa Trevor's descendant THAT LOOKS EXACTLY like him, and helps her battle Ares again. So Chris Pine is playing a dual role. Both Steve Trevor and Grandpa Trevor. Makes total sense when you think about it and within the realm of possibility.

Sweet Jesus...I think the secrecy surrounding this universe is making people go crazy. No other universe goes through this craziness. Almost every DC casting has been met with some psycho-level, Davinci Code-type reading between the lines to figure out who they really are playing.

Roach from here on in every potential DC universe actor is playing Jason Todd unless told otherwise.

Yeah this is starting to getting tiring, WB need come close to his public no let them in the dark.

All of that would make sense and would not be surprising at all really. Some of have even suggested that before.

Nothing wrong with Pine playing WW1 grandpa Trevor and than also playing modern day grandchild Trevor.

No issues here.

Well... the chronology (a present-day, 30ish man having a grandfather who served in WWI) is a bit of a stretch.

Lol I gotta hand it to Mayimbe, dude's got his readers on strings

Despite straight up saying he doesn't know squat about the movie, the guy releases obvious fanboy theory as spoilers knowing full well people would still link to his site

Even people that "dislike" him are dropping links to his site :funny:

I actually saw that theory somewhere around SHH before Eh Maybe posted it. Not saying I don't support it, but I wouldn't be surprised if this scoop is actually him having read something on the net and then usurping it.

Yeah, great grandfather would be more believable to me.

It's not that much of a strech, considering men can conceive children at any age :o

For instance, if Grandpa Trevor had Pa Trevor when he was 50, and Pa Trevor had Trevor when he was 45... plausible ages to have children with a woman who is, say, 30-35... and they could have had other children before as well.

Assuming Grandpa Trevor is 30 in 1920 (he could be younger, but probably not older), Pa Trevor would be born in 1940, and Trevor would be born in 1985, making him 32 years old in 2017, still younger than Pine himself.

I want all of you to remember why this theory will work if true. :o

It's totally possible to happen in real life, we just have a hard time accepting it in movies because we KNOW it's the same actor and it looks cheap.

Honestly i'd be glad that we get more Pine. :woot:

I just don't see WB doing this. There would be no greater way to erase all the goodwill this movie has by relying on an old TV troupe. I'd rather some magic spell is cast on Trevor than to have Trevor come from a long line of Chris Pines.
