He's got a date with an Angel... Chris Pine IS Steve Trevor!

Chris Pine is Steve Trevor.. Thoughts?

  • He will rock!! Just look at that couple!

  • Don't like the casting

  • I expected him for some other role

What if Trevor travels in time?

Could be.

The main theories around here are:

-He travels through some type of time portal.

-Time passes differently on Paradise Island. A short time there can mean decades pass in the outside world (though recent set pics suggest he and Diana leave the island and are involved in World War 1.)

- He lives on the island with the Amazons and doesn't age/die (though Amazons don't allow men on the island.)

-He is somehow granted immortality.

-He looks like his great-grandpa.

So it was confirmed that Pine is doing multiple DC films, right?

Go on...tell us anyway.

Damn straight.

Well, I guess "crazy" is too strong a word, but... I thought it was possible that what we heard rumored before about Scott Eastwood figured into this. Maybe HE'S playing Pine's great grandson, that Diana meets in say, Justice League? But if Pine has signed on for more, however they go about it, I am guessing he's Diana's love interest, case closed.

I really want Diana and Steve to have a convincing love story. Maybe that is what Jenkins is going for. Something that survives through time. I don't know. I hope it works.

As for Eastwood, he's been rumoured for a lot of roles in Suicide Squad, such as Trevor, Deathstroke, Robin, Nemesis...I wish they'd tell us already.

His character is either supposed to be a twist, or he's nobody relevant.

Betting on the latter. :o

I'm kinda hoping it's Nemesis, I'd just like to adapt as many comic characters as possible. He wouldn't be my pic for Robin, Deathstroke, or Trevor.

If someone has a minor but still somewhat impacting role, I say it might as well be a character from the comics than just a completely new one. Give a bonus to the comic book fans.

I like Nemesis as well. It sounds like a good fit for Eastwood and the movie without it being so "out there". But I am not counting on any Eastwood rumors anymore or that he'll even be anyone we know.

Yeah. I agree.

I'm going to play the crazy theory card and summon "Hal Jordan is the reincarnation of Steve Trevor, so Chris Pine will play both roles" this allows for our fanboys to increase their faith points by 1000 each turn. :o

A 1000! :wow:

Well no wonder they're fighting, Superman's cheating on him. :o

Well actually I agree with the sentiment in that poster. Batman doesn't NEED a love interest and neither does Wonder Woman.
