He did? that's great :yay: I'm excided for the Aquaman movie I mean a live action movie that takes place underwater?! :woot: also I remember watching Aquaman in JL at first I thought this guy is like a tyrant but then it's reveal he's got a family I was like wow this guy isn't a tyrant he just wants to protect his family, I hope DC/WB give us the family storyline I think it could help GA/A related to him in a way. :yay: Also Carol Ferris I take it she's Hal's love interest?

It's great that we've seen Aquaman's family and his love for them as a big part of the story in the comics and animation.

Yes, Carol is Hal's love interest.

Chris Pine is Maxwell Lord
Scott Eastwood is Constantine
Tyrese Gibson is Steve Trevor

:o

Close.

Steve Trevor doesn't exist.

Tyrese still campaigns to play him.

We find out Steve Trevor is merely a figment of WW's imagination thanks to

Dr. Psycho.

Dr. Psycho will be portrayed in his younger, med school days by

Scott Eastwood.

Well I'm hearing in the Green Lantern concept art the guy in the middle who is most likely Hal looks like Pine, if that is true then maybe Pine isn't Trevor this reminds me of The Rock days.

I heard that too, from MTV- they said that the concept art looks like Pine. But I also heard that Green Lantern at the Comic-Con presentation was the only one that didn't get definite concept art like the rest, which used the actors cast. GL just got pictures from the comics, plus the "Green Lantern Corps" title announcement. Perhaps the JL cast hasn't been finalised yet, which is why we didn't get an announcement.

It's still pretty early, and we don't know what Jenkins has planned for Steve Trevor either. There have been big changes with WW's development (that is MacLaren leaving as director, the multiple scriptwriters) so we'll just have to wait and see.

Yeah also I heard that the WW concept art [BLACKOUT]takes place in WW2 if that is true I'm thinking Trevor and co In WW2 is dead now? [/BLACKOUT]

It depends on which Steve Trevor they use, or rather, whether he exists in WWII era or is modern day and works for A.R.G.U.S. etc.

The WW movie could jump through different time periods. Say, different wars throughout history. If the villain is Ares, the God of War, he could be involved in wars throughout history and so could WW and the Amazons. In the Perez comics, the Amazons were created to be a link between gods and man but Ares has other ideas and just wants to conquer man.

Yay, I really like the choice. Can the title of the thread be changed to Chris Pine is Steve Trevor now?

Oh look, those Green Lantern rumors were BS after all :vln:

Kinda glad he didn't do GL. I had already pictured him as Trevor along side Gal and I liked it. So this is good news.

So some fanboys are crushed.

Chris Pine has closed a deal to play Steve Trevor opposite Gal Gadot in “Wonder Woman,” TheWrap has learned. Pine joins the DC Movie Universe in a multi-picture deal that includes sequel options, according to insiders.

Is The Wrap pretty reliable? Just want to know before updating the title.

If this is accurate, good choice. It also debunks the feature film being a period piece since the report mentions multi-pictures. Maybe the period stuff is in flashback form.

They're a step down from THR,Variety and Deadline, dude i.e the major trades but they're pretty reliable.

I don't know about Deadline but they aren't quite up there with THR and Variety. Still very reliable.

Pine is definitely showing up in Justice League. Same for Viola Davis

So Chris Pine is Steve Trevor..

Patty Jenkins is directing the comic book movie for Warner Bros., which will release the film in 2017

Chris Pine has closed a deal to play Steve Trevor opposite Gal Gadot in “Wonder Woman,” TheWrap has learned. Pine joins the DC Movie Universe in a multi-picture deal that includes sequel options, according to insiders.
A representative for Warner Bros. did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Steve Trevor will be no mere love interest for Gadot’s Diana Prince, as there will be plenty of action to keep him busy, though plot details remain under wraps.

There had been speculation that Pine was up for a role in WB’s upcoming “Green Lantern Corps” and that the “Wonder Woman” rumors were just a smokescreen, but that popular fanboy theory proved unfounded.
Patty Jenkins is directing “Wonder Woman,” which Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder are producing with Charles Roven and Richard Suckle of Atlas Entertainment. Jason Fuchs wrote the script after working with Warner Bros. on Joe Wright’s “Pan.”

Wonder Woman will be introduced in next year’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” before her solo movie hits theaters on June 23, 2017.
Pine is currently filming Justin Lin’s “”Star Trek Beyond” and will soon be seen in Netflix’s “Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp” and Craig Zobel’s “Z For Zachariah.” Pine recently wrapped Disney’s Coast Guard drama “The Finest Hours” and he also has “Comancheria” with Jeff Bridges and Ben Foster on the horizon. He’s represented by CAA, John Carrabino Management and attorney Michael Gendler.

Hmm... I thought for sure he was going to be GL but hey I'll take it. I'm guessing their plan is to surround Gal with as much big names as they can.

Variety, THR, and Deadline are the big 3 when it comes to trades with The Wrap coming in at a close 4th. Plus, these reporters just shuffle within the trades anyway so it's hard to tell. For example, the one who reported this (Jeff Sneider AKA the "John Blake is Falcone" scooper) used to work for The Wrap and then he moved to Variety and then he moved back to The Wrap so... He's had his share of legit stuff too so it's not like he's a nobody from a fanboy site or something. ;)

So, he has signed a multi-picture deal. I wonder in what time period the movie takes place?

I'd be surprised if they got somebody like Pine and had him stuck in the past. That would be a huge waste. I'm still bitter about Peggy Carter never getting to be with Cap.

Great casting.

Though I always kinda saw him for a new Hal Jordan.

Thanks. The big three are the guys I normally look out for while I raise eyebrows at anyone else. :funny:
