So Grace Randolph made what I think is a good point about comedic touches. She thought it was pretty weak and I kind of agree. Harley and Joker is bit too grounded. I find Ledger's Joker to be more wacky so far. Comedy isn't really Ayer's forte and he's writing and directing.
There were like five f***ing lines of dialogue! What the f*** is she b****ing for?

Too bad many people watch her stuff and think she's a freaking genius.Grace Randolph trollolol
With a title "Suicide Squad" and psychos for main characters, why exactly are people expecting a GOTG movie ?

there seems to be a long string of scenes involving the squad walking and moving about the city possibly. It's giving me vibes of the warriors.
Enchantress isn't the type that I would call quirky. If I would compare her to anyone from Marvel then it would be the Hulk. Only instead of super strength and invulnerability, she has sorcery. So Grace Randolph made what I think is a good point about comedic touches. She thought it was pretty weak and I kind of agree. I'm starting to think this movie needed another writer involved if only for Joker and Harley because with those character you really have to brainstorm and think outside the box. Things like what kind of tattoos Joker would have or what kind zany moments should Harley have requires a different kind of creativity that might not be in Ayer's wheelhouse. From the trailer, think it does lack quirkiness when it comes to Joker, Harley, and even Enchantress.

When they cast Cara Delevingne who's known for quirkiness, it's kind of a waste to not use that as part of her split personalities.

What's wrong with branching out? The character is reasonably dark, and this movie seems to be capitalizing on that. Nothing out of the ordinary here.
I'd say that it's because of Cara's quirkiness that people thought she would be playing Harley.

So everyone should be type cast?

She doesn't have the acting experience to be type cast. It's about playing to their strengths.
