Ragnar with that king Conan pose.

Ragnar is always cool calm and calculating. Even when Horik thought he had Ragnar's number like jarl Borg he found out too late that he didn't.

That shot of everyone just walking off leaving Horik to Ragnar was awesome. Even Siggy was a boss.

I thought it was interesting that Ragnar didn't say anything in the show until well past halfway into the episode. His actions spoke for him. I'm still not sure what to make of him wanting to learn a Christian prayer. Is it doubt about the Viking gods or curiosity. I'm glad though that the show made it a point to show Ragnar reluctant to ending the prayer. I also really hope that Ragnar doesn't become Christian because I can't imagine the others following him down that road. No matter how much they love and respect the guy.

I think it's mostly curiosity, although Connor's theory is interesting too. Ragnar trying to avoid ending the prayer was a really neat touch.

That was an amazing finale. Lagertha is the moofooing woman. I love her. I can't believe I've never heard of Winnick before this, but I'm going to keep my eye on her. I like that the season ended like last season where not everything was resolved. I wonder how much time will elapse when the show comes back? I think one of my favorite parts of the episode was when Bjorn was fighting with his girlfriend. She's like I want you to prove you love me by fighting me and he responds with a punch to the stomach... True love! It reminded me of Lagertha and Ragnar when they were still together. Ludwig did finally grow on me and I really enjoyed him and the character by the end.

I'm going to be having withdrawal symptoms until the show returns. Can't wait for it!

I hope they don't make too many big leaps in time because then they will force Ragnar to age out and die. I don't want this show without Travis. :(

Hmmm...I read the wiki entry on Ragnar, so I have an idea on how it's going to end, but it seems they have a lot of fertile ground to play with considering Vikings are now settling in England.

I wonder if the focus will be on the clash of religions...Pagan philosophies verse Christian philosophies. Seems like that might be the way to go.

Though I'm with you Squeek... Fimmel is the show and without him I don't think it would work as well.

Great finale..but we have to wait until 2015 for season 3. :cmad:

Michael Hirst stated that Ragnar attacks Paris,France next season!

The scene where a wounded King Horik is kneeling before Ragnar and all of Ragnar's people slowly leave one by one was cool. I can't remember, was Rollo one of them?

Glad Floki chose sides…but why did he poison one of his/Ragnar's own people? He also fed Rollo the mushrooms too but Rollo didn't die…

No...Rollo was laid up...and I think the mushrooms Floki fed to him were supposed to help him, but it's hard to tell what's up with Floki.

Floki didn't poison anyone, it was a fake out. The guy he 'poisoned' shows up alive and well in front of Horrick. That's the moment Horrick realizes he's truly boned. The mushrooms weren't poisonous.

I finally caught up to all the episodes...Terrific season, and I sort of have had a very strong gut feeling that Floki was not going to betray Ragnar. Horik I had a good feeling was going to die because he just got signed up for that show Gotham on FOX

Will look forward to future episodes

I always see Horik as Quinn for Blade 1.

lol...Donal Logue has no luck on cable. He's been shanked twice now...lol

Great final.
At the end of season 1 it was : all Hail Yarl Ragnar, now it's all Hail King Ragnar.
Late question : what about the other Viking King that Ragnar met at the Gods festival ? ( the one who speak to him about spider and stuff ).

Ragnar and Ecbar are 2 sides of a coin both respect knowledge. Ecbar wanted to know about Pagans and Ragnar of Christians.

Caught up with the shows.

Good work, Vartha. Makes me think of a Viking video game, which on second thought sounds really cool.

I've been wanting to play Vikings battle for Asgard again. LOVED the free roaming on that.
I'll do more on both adding a bit more detail and upload them to Google warehouse

I knew he wouldn't make it past this season when he started plotting against Ragnar. :oldrazz:

Wow Vartha! Really good work. The changes are subtle, but they add some really cool details. I hope you keep working on it. We need some excitement during the long haitus.

Working on the back rooms as well as adding some more items.
The Hall gets longer as the years goes on, I've noticed.
Even from show to show, certain Items inside move around. One time there's a Floor Torch by the front door, the next there are two water half-barrels on either side

Very true. The hall does change. I think that's one of the show's subtle clues to the passage of time and the seasons. The hall looks a lot different from season one to season two. Also Vartha, remember Aslaug had a substantial influence.

I just wish I knew the layout better.
I made the Hall from 13th Warrior too, years ago. THAT was a pain! There was a behind the scenes look at the MAKING of the 13th Warrior and it's nowhere to be found! That movie was screwed when it came to having extras on any future Anniversary addition
