I feel like not showing Lagertha post Paris attack was more about editing and story flow (keeping things in Kattegat to show the effects of Ragnar's disappearance), than to purposelsy mislead us. They didn't show anything outside of Kattegat like the state Paris, England, etc despite all the years that had apssed.

I don't think that was their intention either even if that was part of the result. They put her in a perilous situation then left her and all the other dangling threads unresolved so we can see what's going on with Ragnar's sons, which leads to what Ragnar is doing. That time jump also went unexpectedly. Suddenly we're at least a decade or more into the future and there was no transition I remembered seeing.

all I have to say is DAYUM finally caught up!!! So we have 6 shows left?

I thought we had ten episodes left.

There are 10 episodes left. Its a 20 episode season.

Couldn't find a Episode listing. Only one I saw had 16 episodes.
LOVE that Deer Skull chandler in Ragnar's Hall!!!! Thinking about making a new inside of the Virtual Model I did

Here are some quotes about the number of episodes:

Vikings will be quantifiably bloodier than ever in Season 4.

The History channel has announced that the period drama’s upcoming run will premiere Thursday, Feb. 18 at 10/9c — and run for a full 20 episodes, adding four hours to its original tally.

Ah, but there’s always a “catch”: Viewers will get 10 episodes in a row before there’s a break, with the second half to air sometime later in 2016. AKA a “split season.”

So far, the show has aired ten episodes before the mid-season break, and it still has 10 episodes to air around the second half of this year.

This current season seems more like a very high budget motion picture. Some of the battle scenes are truly epic!

Do we have a date yet for the remains 10 episodes of this season? I need this show back stat!

I didn't realize the actress playing Gisla is Roman Polanski's daughter

Holy crap! The Mediterranean looks awesome, as do the various battles. I'm looking forward to all the conflicts being set up. Bjorn's coming into his own, too..as is Aslaug?

Don't forget, tonight the new season is on :D

This show is like crack, that hour went by fast.

[BLACKOUT]The raven tree part was funny, considering his supposed linage to Odin.[/BLACKOUT]

Lagertha's pet owl. :ilv:

Ivar's deranged though I did like how he wanted to be treated the same as his brothers.

[blackout]The suicide attempt was rather strange. Why do it when he wants revenge against England?[/blackout]

He's a complicated fellow.

Like Murke, I liked the raven part too. Another one of those subtle could be supernatural/could just be coincidence things Vikings is so good at.

God, it's good to have this show back.

That scene between Floki and Ragnar :waa:.
