Theres some FULL first mission walkthroughs floating around. 47 is in rare form. Dont think we have ever seen him show this much emotion. Kind of a neat side of the character that hasnt really been shown. Bateson, of course, does a great job. More excited than ever to see this path that 47 is about to walk.

Pat, at the risk of breaking your heart I gotta say: I hope Conan was playing on easy mode because the AI looked terrible. When he went to choke that guy at the tennis court and walked around to the front of him the enemy didn't even notice. And the AI in the cornfield segment was...eek!

I can't say anything in the cornfield stood out, but that bit on the tennis court was pretty terrible. 47 was repeatedly bumping into the guy and more than likely wandered into his line of sight once or twice, and the target didn't react at all.

For the cornfield segment I was referring to the fact that he was mowing down enemies with an unsilenced gun and leaving bodies in his wake and the enemies were just casually radioing "I think something's going on!" or whatever.

Even Conan made a quip about it. Like I said, I just hope he was on easy mode or something.

Thats the one flaw iv heard in just about all the reviews. The AI leaves a lot to be desired, at least on lower difficulty levels, but AI has always been a problem in this series. Obviously he was playing on the easier difficulties as you can tell by the HUD. One of the differences between the easier modes and tougher modes is the reaction time of the enemy. So that does change when you increase the difficulty level. In the Purist mode playthrough over on Joystiq, i didnt notice any odd AI behavior, but then again, the person playing wasnt running up to the enemy and goofing around in front of him. After seeing various run throughs tho, i deff think my first outing will be on Purist. I just like that theres no HUD whatsoever. Looks clean.

Hells yeah!!!

This is really the first time I've watched an extended playthrough of the game and I must say, this is exactly the kind of game I love to play. It has those stealth aspect of Splinter Cell, the visuals and environments of Arkham Asylum (which is understandable seeing as how Square Enix is behind this as well), and the Dead Eye feature from Red Dead. But the thing that really gets me excited is that even though it is level based with closed environments, it doesn't seem linear. I can definitely see myself playing each level a few times just to do things differently.

Yea, thats been the staple of the series since day one. Each level tends to be its own sandbox. Im replaying through Blood Money now and am still discovering new ways to get to my targets.
