Those washed-out looking colors on the suit are the actual colors of the suit used for the b/w episodes as they would photograph right for the camera. Once the show went into color, the regular blue, red and yellow suit was used. I mis-spoke on an earlier post regarding the white padding as I thought it to be the suit used in a specific episode. The Adventures of Superman was the second tv show filmed in color (after "The Cisco Kid") and, in fact, those color-filmed episodes were made before color tv was even available. A very groundbreaking show. I am concerned about this movie as the buzz is that it's a pretty lurid affair and not flattering to Mr. Reeves. We'll see...
