Have you noticed the conspicuous absence of any info on the Ben Affleck film about the death of TV Superman George Reeves? Get this: the original title of said film was "Truth, Justice And The American Way". Well Warner Bros. being the sweet outfit they are took, offense over what they consider the mis-appropriation of Big Blue's slogan. Funny how they have no trouble making it a point NOT to use this very same slogan for fear of offending someone, somewhere. Remember the debate we had over this one? Anyway, they put the screws to the makers of the Affleck movie, forcing them to change the title to the ridiculous "Hollywoodland". What are these guys so afraid of? It seems the shadow cast by George Reeves, even in death, is too much for Warners to handle. Now I'm DEFINITELY NOT going to see "Superman Returns".
