Who could ever look at the pics of this movie (dragonball fan or not!) and think that this is going to even come close to what they wanted to see for so many years now. it looks like a joke. It doesn't even look close to the non quality of DOA.

I have been a fan of dragonball since before it even came to America. I watched the live action disaster that came out in the 80s. I have vhs's that only have japanese on them. I am a fan and I want to see a live action movie so bad that does this SERIES justice, im hoping to do it myself one day. There is no possible way anyone could see whats been released and be happy about whats being done.....is there?

I am not going to waste my time on the whole ethnicity of the characters or nit picking bs. I want someone to explain to me, how after they see the pictures that were released for this movie......how can you call yourself a fan and LIKE what you've seen so far?

(this may sound very negative and like im going to call the first person who answers the question an idiot, but thats not the case. I am looking for a new way to look at this project so that i dont cry at the disaster i see coming. Moderators, let it stand. I honestly need a new view point! lol i PROMISE - this will not be a negative bashing or berating of responses).

When I was a kid there was alot of Dragonball running on the television, the manga was popular, episodes were the talk at school, it had HYPE. Lately, DB has been slipping in the minds of kids, and resting in the back of our young adult minds.

Its about time it came back, and yes there will be some changes, but change IS inevitable, you cant avoid that. The series has been dead for a long time, you cant rekill it, its not active anymore. This is only an attempt to revive it, why hate on that? Yes, some say dont disturb the grave of a dead man, but when there's the choice between nothing, and something, and the risk is only getting more nothing, Im going to take something.

kurotsurugi u r so totally right about this ..im a db fan for 12 years now ,and those pictures r so against my expectations...fox is aiming for non db fans ...they chose to completely ignore db fans..humm... ''ignore'' is not the proper word..no..they sacrificed our needs in order to satisfy other people s thirst for triviality..im damn furious with them and im tired other db fans callin' me pessimist or telling me thats an adaptation ..if i wanted an adaptation i would do a shi_ _y home video about db with amateur fans ....or second hand actors and called that an adaptation...but with 100 million dollars? wtf r they doing with that money?throwing them down the toilet?u could feed a whole african country with that amount of money..and theyr not capable of making a movie ...?!pathetic losers ...is that hard to make an orange gi and some boots..and shuve the pants in those boots?chatwin looks like a fu_ _ ing samurai...and his hair is so messed up... goku ' s hair is falling over his forhead too...he looks more like vegeta...this movie is just 2 shallow...
