The Dark Knight How are you treating Spoilers around the release?

Yeah you could try that, I think that another option is to pick your computer up, and proceed to throw it from a great height, and worry about the consequences after the film comes out.

It is easy enough, you just have to hold back, I have been in the spoiler forum, but have yet to go into the reviews thread because that is where the major info is at, pretty simple. I dont think there is any harm in looking at the photos, or the 12 clips which I would consider to be mostly non spoiler anyway.
The first page of the review thread is pretty safe. Just don't wander out from there, LOL.

I'm shameless with spoilers, but I drew a line at those 12 clips. I don't want to see footage from a Nolan film that's cut up and edited down for mass consumption unless they're trailers. I just know they'll be better in context, that's all.

Yeah this is very true, I suppose it is how they are interpretated in the eye of the beholder. I set myself a cut off to the spoiler forum of midnight on June 30th, and really hope I can stick to it lol.

I think the clips are just extended versions of scenes we saw in the trailers, but simply more to "wet our whistles" so to speak.

For me, my plan is that starting on the 1st, the only threads I'm guna look at are the Fan Art Thread, and The Meet Up Thread. Besides those two, I'll be gone from the forum completly.

I didn't read any of the posts cause I'm on my phone posting so I don't know if anyone mentioned this but what I did on firefox, was download the add on called blocksite and block the spoiler section. That's what I did and it works well. Then you can also block specific threads.

my plan is to stay away from anything that spoils the entire movie for me. i have already heard some things that i somewhat wish i had not, but nothing huge like the ending or major twists (supposing there are any, it is a Nolan film after all). i deffinately plan to stay out of the spoiler section and will not read any in depth reviews until i have seen the movie... twice:hehe:

I already seen a few clips at iesb and I accidently saw a spoiler

You know why I'm avoiding spoilers?

I'm avoiding them thanks to Batman Begins. Only thing I had seen before seeing it was one or two spots on television: Best "cinematic experience" of my life, I tell you!

And I wanna repeat that experience, especially since I'm actually looking forward to The Dark Knight!

Right now I'm only reading articles about the movie in Starlog, Wizard, Entertainment Weekly, I've already seen the prologue on youtube but I'm trying hard not to read much into it so as not to spoil myself.

...I'm down for tv spots but not ruining it for myself with those 12 clips that were just released...but are now taken down...but reading the reactions to those clips has been quite spoilerish...but nothing compares to seeing actual footage so I'm not too worried that I've ruined anything for myself...only 3 weeks to go!

I wanna know how many people saw the iesb clips?

i watched them. they were not very spoilerish in that they revealed anything that had to do with heavy plot stuff except for one, but i already knew of this particular part due to earlier leaked images.

not going to lie though, the joker scene that was the money burning scene in the trailer extended for about 20-30 seconds was sick. really shows how dark and demented heath's joker really is.

I'm bypassing the Spoiler thread and carefully manuevering around the Non-Spoiler and Viral Mktg. threads. The week before the release, I'm gonna try to exit SHH all together, until after the midnight screening ends Thursday night. :woot::brucebat:

Which clip are you talking about? I've seen all the leaked pictures and the only one I can think of that is spoilery is definatly not out as a clip yet.

I love the burning money clip though. Its beautiful
