The Amazing Spider-Man 2 How come no threads on the deleted post credits sequence? Spoilers!!

I really would have liked to see that end scene. I had only heard rumors about it, I never read how it would play out or anything like that. It seems like it would have been super interesting and would have been an incredible cliff hanger into the third ASM.

I share in your disappointment that they did not include the scene. It had great potential.

Everything I read had Fiers talking to the head, and then the eyes open.

I don't ever remember hearing about the eyes opening. Fiers would say, "time to wake up old friend," and that's it.

Or they put his head on a fully mechanized Goblin suit, put his mind in Harry's body, I dunno make him the Sinister Six's Zordon.

Possibly. Seems like anything could happen with that kind of ending, which is why it would have been such an amazing cliff hanger.

At least two articles say they did, but memory can be tricky like that. People argue over how one scene plays out, but the scene in question is on YouTube and there's a definitive answer for that one.

Given that they left the setup for this in the film itself, I'm fully expecting that it will be added to the home media releases of the movie, and personally really want to see how it plays out.

They better put that in the DVD or show us an extended cut.

That is what I am saying. All of the deleted scenes that didn't make it into the movie better be available in the home versions of the movie. I want to be able to see the hours that Sony cut out of the film.

No wonder why the film cost 255 millions and looks a lot cheaper when you have so much footage lying on the cutting room's floor.

I'm not too keen on Norman being a Futurama character personally. I was gutted there was no post credits Spidey scene though, I waited just to see a rather uninteresting X-Men scene. :/

I'm thinking the ending with Harry in Ravencroft was supposed to be mid or post credits, but was bumped up to make room for X-Men.

That might have been a better place for that scene actually.

I'm glad there was no post credits scene.

First time in a while we had a CBM with no credits scene.

I was slightly disappointed that there was no ending credits scene. I always love waiting for them. But I did enjoy the Ravencroft scene, made for a decent cliff hanger.
