How did Wolverine's claws get through his adamantium coated rib cage?

:wolverine His Ribs Aren't completely covered. They are only laced onto the bones, so his claws could easily pass through his ribs. Believe me, I know everything about wolverine.

or what about how did his claws poking the metal strips break them? each peice of metal holding him were thicker than his claws, all he could have really done is punched a few holes in them, except apparently he slices through them some how

Almost two years. Dear God, talk about digging. :)

In reply to the last few comments, You see no matter how thick the copper bars were, adamantium is indistructable.Wolverine's claws can slice through anything. The reason why Magneto can bend them is because he has the ability to create Magnetic fields, control metal, and Manipulate any and all kinds of Metal. (That includes all alloys):wolverine :xmen:

More like why didn't Jean just telekintetically remove all of the restraints that were on them. Or at least herself.

They wanted to make Jean seem less powerful than what she was in the comics and cartoon series just like rouge took jubilees place as the new comer who needs help. As for wolverine some believe that they bonded the adamantium to his bones DNA which would cause them to repair upon his retraction of the claws. And from what I can see, I'm watching the DVD as I type, His wrists look pretty straight when he "Shinks" :wolverine them out. And what is with this weird looking "TheTICK" icon... he only has one antenna :hyper: ?

PS Adamantium cuts through anything and everything. "Listen bub! These are made from adamantuim, the strongest metal known to man and can slice through steel like a hot knife through butter. So do you feel lucky?"

When they were all wrapped up in metal at the top of the Statue of Liberty.

And the thing that bothers me about that scene isn't how they went though his rib cage, it's how they came out of his hands.

See his wrists were bent of the time, so his claws either, would not move at all, or they would pop out the top of his wrist instead of inbetween his knuckles, which I think is a bological impossiblity for him, though I can't say for sure.
X-23 cant release her claws without her wrist being straight, I wonder if its the same for Wolverine?

I assume its the same with wolverine because of muscle control, but then again sometimes artist f up.

Also i assume wolverine slid around.

Im sure they said the X2 that he has to have his wrist straight. I sort of remeber someone saying that Lady Dee could move her wrists were as wovie can't.

Well, Adamantium is the fictional strongest metal in the world, so yeah, it would slice through the metal of Lady Liberty like butter.

Thats another question, where do Deathstrikes come from?? X2 gave them impression that they're always in her fingers, as she was clicking her fingers in the White House.
