Why, at the end of one of the X3 T.V. spots, in the side profile of Wolverine's arm, with claws extended, we hear a gust of wind, and it looks like his claws wobble--like they're rubber! Also, in X2, when the cat is licking Wolverine's center claw, that too is wobbling. Couldn't they have found a more stable claw, that would also be safe for the cat?

I never noticed the middle claw wobbling, I'll have to check that out,
as for the claws wobbling in the end of that t.v. spot is it must be there for somthing and not a mistake, there is no way they could have missed that.

They are safe the cat already they were made from plastic, I have a set I made myself modeled after the X1 claws, the claws are/were held with some strong metal wire that sits in between your knuckles, I can post pics if you like.:)

I can understand the wobbling of the claws with the cat, but the tv spot of the claws moving, well, you can see that Wolvie's hands are wiggling too, so,...

yea wolverine is just adjusting his hands is all.....

because its fake. because hugh has to hold those fake knifes betweens his indices which is not easy.

No, that's alright; thanks, though. I'm aware of Hugh's handheld claws. Actually, that's probably why movie Wolverine's claws come out through his knuckles, as opposed to the tops of his hands, in the first place; for convenience purposes. I just don't see why that middle claw had to move as it did. I find it kind of distracting. I have to suspend my disbelief. And I know the claws were safe for the cat, but couldn't the claws (or at least, the middle one) have been more secured to the wire he holds them with, so that the middle one didn't wobble when the cat licked it? Oh, well.:o

They do come out from the top of his hands though...
I honestly never noticed that middle claw wobbling, my guess is one of the hex screws came loose and no one caught it.

i know what your talking about from x2, its been bugging me too
which trailer shows the wobblyness in x3?

Omg lol this thread is funny :D I didn't notice the wobbling im going to check it out

Hmmm...I think it was in tv spot #2, the alarm spot..

Um, I believe that we're supposed to see Wolverine's claws wobbling. I think it's Magneto using his magnetic power to do that. It's probably a start to something else that Magneto will do. Look at Wolverine's face in that clip too. He sort of sighs heavy I think. Maybe he's in pain, or he realizes that Magneto has a hold on him. Just a thought.

Youtube, Comingsoon.net.

Anywhere now.

I think you're correct. Magneto must be present, there.

The new Wolverine spot opens with that profile of Wolverine's arm (and not in slow motion, with strange music, as in T.V. spot 2), and it's cleary evident that this "wobbling" is nothing more than Wolverine tightening his fingers. But in doing so, Hugh is moving around the wires that hold the claws to his hands; so the "wobbling" is in fact, a mistake. As surely, Wolverine's claws wouldn't move if he adjusted his fingers because the backs of the claws are tightly secured in his knuckes, while extended. Oh, well.:o
