*SPOILERS* X3 Phoenix and the House of M

So let me get this straight....

Adamantium > than Level 5, 'demoleculizing', psycho mutant????

And talk about reality warping, from the opening scene to the last credit I almost felt like someone should have told us which X universe this was before viewing it.

Mostly, I want everyone to comment on how Phoenix 'jobbed' to Wolverine's claws. But please feel free to discuss the many other 'WTF' moments!

I'm not even going to try to attack Wolverine's 'vaunted' healing factor, but what I was really referring to was that all it took to kill someone who didn't die when 100,000 gallons of water smashed into her body was... a blade???

Not to mention that they never even slightly showed his healing factor working THAT fast in the previous movies... these weren't cuts and bruises people, she was ripping him a new one on a CELLULAR level!!!

Jean didn't die at Alkali Lake because she used her powers to protect her body from being smashed. Xavier explained that.
Jean also let Logan do it. She was the personality in control when he stabbed her. Therefore, no guard was up, and she's not invincible.

Yeah, that really bugged me. I didn't know he could heal at rapid speed. It took him like a WHOLE minute to heal the huge cuts on his head in X1...

I'm not saying I completely agree with it. The only thing I can think of is that Jean herself was somewhat in control and was lessening the damage. But that should have been Scott at the end, not Logan.

I thought that part was the most ridiculous part of the whole movie. Not only does she find herself unable to hurt him, she does not even think hmmmmm....why not throw him back and knock him out like I did when I was in the X-Mansion....plus how is it he stays unconscious in teh X-mansion not healing and yet here he heals at light speed.

You have no idea, how much I agree with you on this.

But all that aside, I had already accepted the fact that this was the 'Wolvy Set-up Show'. But come-on they made the guy Zues at the end. Why would Jean, who was clearly stated as choosing Cyke in X2 fight for Wolverine??

Horrible storytelling, and continuity...just wrong!

We seen xrays of a mechanical system for releasing the claws. Which would indicate Stryker putting them in him.

Or did stryker just put in a more effective claw mechanism than wolverinesmutant/biological one.

i can't quite remember the xrays, any pics?

the real point is that we will never know since he has yet to be without his adamantium ones so there is no basis for speculation.

however if the scene was to continue as it did, then i would have preferred adamantium to go and then bone claws being used...
