The abundance of gifs reminded of the tusi, which actually got closed once because there were nothing but gifs for 5, 6 pages.

I joined for the main reason of needing somewhere active to post at after quitting WOW (without that sinkhole I suddenly found myself with more free time) and no longer having a "home" board to post at. Other boards I'd been on previously either slowly died out from inactivity or became unbearable spam/troll/whiner boards of nonsense.

It doesn't hurt that with the boom and continuous success of superhero and comic films I had some interest in this place too.

Yep, I color code based on when I need to get things done. So orange means do first, etc.

Ugh Bad day today. I will have to redo a lot of school work I did hastily over the weekend, because they are sloppy. My own fault, just an annoyance.

And I just crossed the road a bit ago, and this guy doesn't stop his car. Other people in his car start yelling "hit her! hit her!" I just don't understand why I'm the bad guy here when you're the one blazing through the stop sign... yeah, try and hit me, let's see how well you do in court in America where pedestrians have the right of way!

I am in a bad mood today Sorry in advance.

But jeez. A classmate asked me to critique his art project that we turn in on wednesday. It's a small project - photoshop yourself into another scene where you have not been. This kid knows I've been getting good grades and so he asked me to look at his and let him know how he can improve so he can get a better grade as well. So I point out what is working in the piece and what isn't. But this kid is talking back to me and defending everything I said could be improved upon. Getting really upset. So I tell him fine, what he has will have to work because obviously he isn't going to take into consideration anything I've just said. Dude, I'm busy too. I took time out to look at your project and was able to tell you things that I know the prof is going to point out because of my own experiences. I'm not attacking his work or anything either - I know exactly how to give critiques, and I was very gentle with him because I didn't know if he knew how to take one.

Obviously not. Don't bother asking me for help if you aren't even going to let what I say go past your earholes and into your brain.

Well Harls, you see, when most people want criticism, they usually want to be told it's fine, perfect and nothing else needs fixing. Ask any guy when their girlfriend/wife is getting ready to go out.

And he's asked for help before and I've told him oh it's fine, it's great, etc, and today he asked for a "real critique" so I babied him into one and now he throws a fit. Whatever, I ain't got time for that :P

Man, as much as I love my calming yoga and meditation, today I just want to [insert violent verb of your choice here] someone.
