Yeah but that kind of stuff comes with time, i can text on my phone with out looking, thats only because over a decade of doing it, and now i know where all the letters/functions are haha

I take a pretty long time to text. If I type something that's on the same #, I take forever.:o

You know what else pisses me off? People that misspell things on purpose, you don't spell night like 'nite' or light like 'lite'. :cmad:

You need to loosen up; you're waaay too tite.

Yet you are still unable to capitalize, spell and punctuate.

If you are referring to my screenname, i hit the wrong button on accident. It was an error. Im pretty sure we all make errors in typing every once in awhile. Im on a message board, not typing my 8th grade english paper. At least I dOnt TypE Like ThIS LiKe I aM RigHt NoW like all the other kids in my school do.

Agreed, people that use leet should die a painful death after they've been sterilized.

I didnt know that they had actually given that kind of typing a name. Well, you learn something new every day.

Some of you guys act like idiots toward new people. He's sorry that he's not typing perfectly, I mean, why should he? It's a MESSAGE BOARD.

Anyway, I do homerow. My highest score is 117 WPM and my average is like 105 or so. Yes, both without looking.

I learned how to type by myself in Summer 2005 on Superherohype.:D

Why is it always the people that can't spell "tomorrow" that say "it's just a message board"?

Seriously, Kritish.

You're NOT the English police. Find some other way to occupy yourself.

Farmerfran started to be a d_ckwad about spelling a few months ago and earned himself a lot of negative feelings.

I try to type using home row, but I mostly just freestyle. Index and middle fingers hopping all over the place. Only fingers that always have a purpose: Middle finger hits the period button and pinky taps enter on my right hand. Left hand pinky holds down shift when I need to capitalize. Thumbs for spacing. Rockz0rz yo.

I average like, 110 WPM typing like that when I do that test.

I don't care of people slip up once in awhile, but alot of people here have blatant disregard for even trying to spell right.

There's a big difference between people that say 'teh' instead of 'the' once in awhile and people that have never punctuated in their hype lives.

I type with my two index and middle fingers.
I usually push the space bar with my index finger.

F*** home row.

Also, kinda off-topic, but I hate it when people type like this:

I luv dis sTuFf rite herr, cuz wE GiT iT rite All da tYme!

Ghetto b****es....

Damn, 110? People I meet always say I'm a very fast typer, but the most I got on that link was around 96 WPM. I absolutely suck when I have to capitalize or use punctuations, that always screws me up. For some reason, I can never master using my pinkies.

Unless it's Miller Lite, 'ight' on a beer is bad!!! :cmad:

Yeah. Sometimes I f**k up with spacing or capitalization and whatnot and end up with 100-110 but I usually end up with 115-130, always less than 10 errors.

When I'm taking the test though I'm typing like a madman, even using my ring fingers. It's cool to show off but when it comes time for a friend to transfer a rough draft of a ten page essay onto the computer for printing... yeah, favors are a b**ch.

I don't bother with home row. I find it to be extremely uncomfortable.

And I took that typing test that was linked in one of the earlier posts, and I'm 54 WPM.

I've never had a reason to take a typing class when I was in school, nor have I had a job that requires fast typing.

I've never taken a typing class, lol, I just posted here a lot and IMed a lot and wrote a lot using the keyboard, and gradually the key locations got locked into my mind. Home row is the proper way of typing, but yeah, it isn't necessary unless you're a typist.

90 WPM, with one mistake. F'ing semi-colon.

Like a ******ed drunk midget

who also happends to be blind

I used to type using my two index fingers, then I took a C++ class in high-school.

My typing totally changed, for the better.
