Exactly, I want better writing for JJJ and for the entire Daily Bugle to be shot with some seriousness behind it. This means no hammy and cheesy acting either, play it with straight face is right, make me believe that those characters are real people, and not cartoon characters. Humor hear and there is fine, but a director has to know his limit or he'll delve into cheese territory real quick.Yes, but I'd hate a long verbal spoonfeeding explanation. I'd like that you could actually see it rather than hearing it. And I'd like a JJJ played with a straight face that could become humorous now and then because of his sarcasm and grumpiness rather than playing it as a mere comedic relief.

There's a Daily Bugle presence in the film, but Peter isn't working there. Also, I'm fairly certain that if Zooey Deschanel was in the film, there would have been an announcement. Maybe in TASM 2?
I don't really know how you improve the Bugle over what was done in the Raimi films. The only thing I kinda wish is a LITTLE less cheese. Not too much, because the Bugle is not supposed to be serious, but Hoffman was a terrible idea (SMH12, if you defend him, I'm deading you.) and some of J.J.'s lines were a little too goofy, but other than that I loved it. Would like to see more Betty and Robbie. They weren't very looked at in the Raimi films.
