I know it's just a promo shot and all, but seeing the two next to each other with Ted looking happy makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Like I just ate a kitten.

Still not ok with an entire season covering 56 hours. Seems like they are cramming a lot of character growth into a ridiculous and unbelievably short amount of time.

Didn't just the before-math of the wedding last for like 2 seasons? I'm not worried, it's just going to be ongoing and related to flashbacks, which will take up most of the time, as usual.

McClaren's and Ted/Marshall/Lily's apartment are two of the setpieces they've had since day 1. I really doubt they're abandoning them entirely for a whole season set ENTIRELY at Farhampton.

That's because the Mother is the result of Lily and Robin becoming caught in a transporter malfunction and becoming one. The series ends with Marshall and Barney alone, and Ted telling them "Your women are mine now."

In all seriousness though, I really like how she does seem to be a mix between Lily and Robin, at least in terms of looks. I was watching some of the early first season episodes and couldn't help but think that Lily looked a lot like her back then. I wouldn't be surprised if they mashed the personalities as well, where she is the best of both girls.

I wonder if they will make anything of the fact that she looks like a cross between the two. One of the main characters should point it out.

And as for a mash of both girls, well she's already a better singer than Robin.

i am so happy that we will get to see her through the final season. the idea that we should only see her in the last 10 seconds of the season finale was never a good idea IMO.

I think she is the most perfect person they could've gotten for the role, especially now I see them together. She is cute and adorable, very girl next door and down to earth. I would fall for her myself if I were in Ted's shoes.

Robin and Barney are making a slight tweak to their wedding guest list.

True Blood‘s Anna Camp has RSVP’d for How I Met Your Mother‘s highly anticipated nuptials playing a character originally earmarked for The Office‘s Ellie Kemper, TVLine has learned exclusively.

The super-busy Camp assumes the role of Cassie, one of the most attractive, available, and — as Ted discovers — unfortunate guests at big event.

Kemper, whose initial casting was reported by TVLine back in July, had to bow out due to a scheduling conflict.

Camp is set to appear in one episode, but, given the wedding’s season-long structure, it’s possible she could return.

HIMYM‘s farewell season kicks off Sept. 23.

Yeah that never made sense to me either. The whole "Oh I don't need to get to know her, we know enough. Meeting her goes against the premise of the show' kind of attitude from some fans.

Screw that. I wanna get to know her.

I didn't think the mother was all that attractive in the first glimpse we got of her, but in everything I've seen from her since, I have really grown to love her. But it really super freaky how I kept seeing her everytime I saw Lily and how she looked in season 1. Its such a weird resemblance, but I kinda like it.
