I would love if the Stlutty Pumpkin, the Love Connections girl, and the mother are all the same. On top of being that other girl's roommate, it would just be a huge story of finally seeing the timing being right between two people who had simply just missed each other.

I think that would be cool, but I wonder if the theme of timing was just for the first episode or the entire season.

It kinda reminds me of the last season of Smallville with all the callbacks to the past and guest appearances. Hopefully the stories fit in better together with HIMYM,

I like it too. I mean, hell, the goat incident and slap bet were both first referenced in season one. It is what makes the show so fun. How often did a show like Friends or Fraiser display such continuity? It is what makes HIMYM great. It is definitely one of the underappreciated gems of the past 15 years.
