How I Met Your Mother

Yeah, Ted met Nora in "A Change of Heart" when Barney brought her to the bar to meet them and to use the bathroom. But she didn't appear again until the finale, so I can imagine that that was the only time they met.

For some reason, I can totally see them turning Nora into a crazy person that becomes obsessed with Barney if they were to break up. Like I can see them have her show up to the wedding in a wedding dress just as a way to make us think she is the bride, only to reveal she snapped somewhere along the lines.

"A Change of Heart", one of my favorite episodes. Lilly's 14 second cardiac arrest punch. :funny:

Ugh. I would hate that. Totally ruin the character....for what? To make Robin look better? I hope they don't go that route if they were to break up.

they are already making Robin a victim. so the plan is for us to think that Robin deserves to be with Barney. i hope i will not see this kind of insulting writting.

I know the show is called How I Met Your Mother, but I would be interested to see the show carry on after Ted meets the mother of his future children. Show them date, maybe even lead up to their wedding or something. In episodes they have described her, I think the show could actually last for a while once the audience meets her.
Show how and Ted are together, show how she interacts with the rest of the cast.

From TV Line....
How I Met Your Mother is plotting a returning guest star extravaganza this October — and we’re not just talking Ashley Williams’ Victoria.

In the Oct. 24 episode, Chris Elliott, Wayne Brady, Frances Conroy and Bill Fagerbakke will all reprise their respective roles on the CBS comedy, EW.com reports. Elliott will revisit the role of Lily’s estranged father, while Conroy and Brady are set to play Barney’s mother and brother once more. And, of course, Fagerbakke will (somehow) appear as Marshall’s late father.
That's quite a guest cast list.

I love it every time Barney's brother shows up.

Weren't they planning on hooking Robin up with that crush of hers from last season, but then the actor was unavailable or something so they had to scratch that idea.

Really? So when Ted said, that story wasn't over, it actually is over?

thats dumb... they should've just recast him

it was, Michael Trucco, right...?

Yeah they killed that story line and replaced it with Kal Penn. Also I wish that John Lithgow is in the episode and they just haven't announced him yet.

Maybe they will save it for season 8 if he becomes available again just to close that thread.

Will Kal Penn will be in future episodes this season or was it just a one shot deal?

if it was court ordered therapy, I doubt she'd just have to go for one section...
so, she'll probably be seeing him on a regular bases

this might be reminiscent of Ted and Stella, in a way, where she starts to like him, but, can't go out with him as long as he's still her therapist... and tries to win him over, throughout the rest of her sections with him
(which after that first section, maybe not be easy, he probably thinks she crazy lol)

Well didn't he say something at the end about how she was a good friend and her assault wasn't something completely criminal, meaning he didn't think she was as bad as he did at first.

Yeah he did. She did a criminal act for good intentions.

She did beat up that crazy chick, good and proper, for a good cause. :awesome:

Martin Short is awesome and pretty much the only thing I liked about the episode.

I liked the episode, but I'll agree that Short was the best part. :o:up:

It's just nice to see people that don't hate the Ewoks.

For some reason I liked Ted's beard. It was a nice little change for him and I wonder if there's a reason behind it.

I think just one.

I wouldn't mind seeing the last slap be used right before Barney's wedding to snap him out of a major freak out.
