How long do you think the Danger Room has been at the x-mansion

when do you think it was installed or do you think it's always been there and just has never been used?

There was a name on a door when Stryker invaded in X-Men 2. They also wanted it in X-Men 1 so i'm assume its always been there.

saying this, the sentinel program seemed fairly basic and considering how long iceman and kitty had been around for, as well as storm, they did seem a lil taken back by it all though.

i mean what is more basic than a single sentinel against six x-men?


if it was a newly installed piece of kit then i can understand why.

I think it was always there they just didn't show it in the first 2 movies.
what i was thinking about in that scene was, if they have sentinel in danger room programme, does that imply that the x-men already fought the sentinles in the past. (kinda like how they imply that beast was a former member of the team long before the events of the first movie.)

not necessarily, in this universe it may just be something professor programmed in as a possible threat.

ps, if it was there all the time, how come trask didn't touch it?

Iknow he also didn't take parts of the x-jet while he was there but still, pretty nifty stuff...

If your referring to the flash back of cyclops and jean training, that was very early on, it probably wouldn't of been there yet, as the proffer said (that flash back) was of jean and scott being some of his first students so there wouldn't of been that many kids around.
