How many of you like comics and collect action figures and have a girlfriend?

i've got me a fiancee and i have probably over 500 figs. not all out and displayed of course, but in boxes etc. just got my marvel stuff out now. she helps me hunt for figures. its great.

I do that stuff. Nothing wrong with it. I don't think it's bad, it's what I like.

I never asked a girl out. I'm afraid to. Not because I have too much trouble talking to them, it's because I'm afraid they'll just think I'm weird for what I do and not go out or something.

I shouldn't even have to be afraid about this, it's stupid. But I am.

Anyone have the same problem?

I've usually picked up the TPB's,but it's never been much of a problem.

you can have any intrest they don't find aborant really. then you find commen ground in the things you do together. learn about each others intrests abit more and if it's not your cup of tea no problem really.

I love Marvel Comics and have a collection of 3000+

I also have a collection of Marvel Action figures with 3/4 Silver Surfers in it, at least 2 Spider-Man figures and so forth...

And I'm happily married to my husband and we have a little boy who will get to enjoy those things in 6 or 8 years.

It's quite easy to have all three as long as you don't let your comic/action figure collecting look like an obsession (even though it might be one).

Do you think a 12 inch Spider-Man, Venom, and Doc Ock will have any effect on a girl?

That really depends on what you're planning to do with them.

Honestly, back when I was dating, comics and action figures weren't the first things I usually mentioned on a date. Maybe it was because of the "stigma" but it sometimes never came up.

Girl: .....? Yeah...I have to go to the bathroom.
