Yeah, but for you to be the ONLY one chiming in on my side of the argument?I told ya we likely agree on more than we don't.
I doubt we're the only ones who see the futility of trying to translate this storyline albeit classic to the big screen. It was a gimmick in the comics and ultimately did nothing to really alter Peter's life, other than removing Gwen from it and replacing her with MJ.
It would not only be futile but redundant. Look, we already had a Spider-Man bridge scene, we've already seen his girl kidnapped & threatened-repeatedly, and we already watched Batman grapple with his girl getting killed and being unable to do anything about it. Let's leave it at that. Let's have the hero's love interest (for a change) serve some purpose other than getting into trouble.
