I still can't believe Big Hero 6 won over HTTYD2. Complete BS, I would've accepted Song of the Sea winning, even though I thought HTTYD2 was the best...but Big Hero 6? Really?

I am no fan of Big Hero 6, but I am also happy that considering what happened with Dragons 2, it didn't win. The Lego Movie was by far the best animated film that year imo, though I also quite love Song of the Sea. The Tale of the Princess Kaguya is also pretty darn good imo.

Lego Movie not getting nominated at all is an even bigger snub. I still liked HTTYD2 better, but that was a fantastic piece of animation that should've been there.

That's exactly how I feel about that parade of cliches that was the first How to Train Your Dragon. It bored me so much that I refused to watch the second... and now they're making a third one. Looking forward to skipping it!

I love the first one. One of the most well crafted animated films ever made imo. It is part of the reason why the second disappoints me so much.

Isn't entertainment media like 90+% cliches these days? I adored the first, loved the second a bit less.

Not a surprise, they don't want to end up like Shrek which went on for one movie too long. You can tell when they start to run on fumes.
